It's actually pretty easy once you understand the instructions.
I'd recommend doing an oil change and have all the oil drained before installing it however to minimize the mess.
Key note is to make sure you move the tubes on the OMP to the other side of the hose clamp nearby so it doesn't bend into it and potentially wear on it.

Yikes....
Better wipe away the oil from the tubes and verify they aren't leaking.
I had leaking issues on the feeding tube where it clamped around the nipple on the SOHN for a little bit until I finally got it sealed. Took a few tries and was a PITA.
If you were closer towards SW CT I'd offer to help.

So I just checked my oil and it was less than a quarter. And I had an oil change 2 weeks ago. I am having a massive leak. But hey, now I don't have to do oil changes, I can just keep adding oil haha

It's coming out on a ground. Just the bottom of those oil lines and the omp are covered in oil. The rest of the engine bay is fine. I already did some research on it and have a few things that could be wrong. But for now, I better stock up on some oil

lol with my 8, I can make everyday a wrenching day for him. Especially since Im at 92k now and maintenance wise I do need to change a lot of stuff on it. Like hoses and things. And I might need motor mounts soon. So I can provide him with A LOT of wrenching )) he can start by taking apart your 8 that's at his garage cause I have a feeling I might need some parts from it haha

i didn't pull anything off yet. I do need it to move around so I'll just be taking it apart and then putting it back together for now. But I'll take a look at that. I'll also have my mechanic take a look at it today maybe he can give me some pointers.
