You'll get that while trying to start a flooded engine.
Just give me a call later and I'll head down to help.

I am ordering a racing beat helmet.

Alright, I'll give you a call tonight.

Oh, and I dropped one of the vacuum caps for the maintenance ports in the abyss, so I'll need to run by autozone to get a new one. My car and I, as much as it pains me to admit it, are a perfect match... we both sort of suck at this game.

True.... diving into an SMT machine is much scarier than a Renesis engine.
Rockwell sends us out to Universal just so we can tear stuff apart and know how it works and how to repair them.
I love week long business trips to New York.

Welcome to the club, Vez. For body work you might want to look at Paint Works [11266 Royalton Rd, North Royalton, OH 44133, (440) 582-2535)], if North Royalton isn't too far for you. I had a parking lot incident not too long ago and I'm going to have them take a crease out of my fender this spring when the car comes out of the garage. I looked at several shops and this guy impressed the hell out of me.

Hope to see you on the 16th.

Slap a Snell SA 2005 sticker on that and you've got yourself a winner. Unless you have a sunroof.

That won't fit with the sunroof! (Looks like Ryan beat me to that one) You'll have to buy the racing beat seat lowering kit also.

Can't the horns just hang out the sunroof? or out the window? I'm sure those horns work like vortex stick-ons for the trunk lid.

And yet you let me drive around my car. . .

I ordered some custom decals for the back window from Shinkateen - not so much anime though: Bugs Bunny holding a sign that says "honda season"

. . . I'm sad, I wish my car was working. . . I'm driving around the company 2003 Yukon XL. I feel like I'm driving a tank.

Well thanks for the welcome wagon! I am actually in willoughby right now. My cell sites I am responsable for range from E9th ST cleveland to Painseville and from SR20 north to the lake. I haev about 52 total sites. So if your parents have Revol wireless and live in that area I would be more than happy to take a look at the site closest to the address. I usually have a pretty good rating on my network.

Haha @ your cosmetic mods. I don't mind getting the hood repainted but something about the black CF hood against the BC paint makes me a bit excited. I do plan on getting the appearence package for my car. Based on what I have read about AZparts express they have what I want just sounds like their customer service has a little bit to be desired. They reason I want the package is because my floor manager back when I sold them in 04-05 used to let me take is silver 04 GT MT fully loaded demo out on the weekends so the appearence package and spoiler still appeal to me.

Is there a sticky or good database for HP:$$ for modifications around here? I want to know where I should start. I am wondering if I should do too much as I dont want to void the 8/100k warranty. I wont be driving it during the winter. I have a Durango for my work truck and my wife has an 04' 6s with MT so no need for it.

The whole Aftermarket Performance Modification section is good for finding information:
https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/

If you don't go FI, then the best performance modifications you can do being NA is BHR coils, midpipe, AccessPort, and good maintenance.
Not much more you can do to notice a difference.

When you can drive the **** out of this car and beat everybody else around in it then it's worth the money for the mods. Until then, WHY?????

I think I've said that here before!

How hard is it to change out the plugs as I dont think they have been done on this one yet. Is the midpipe to replace the cat? If I do that I would probably fail my e-check in summit county. I was going to start reading about synthetics in the engine. I like amsoil from the past. Do synthetics work well in these? When working on 13bs we just used plain old penzoil.

Edit: Hehe well I dont mod it up for beating other people as much as for my own enjoyment and an excuse to take it apart. OOOO I just remembered a question I wanted to ask yall. Where are some kick *** twisties to drive around here?

While its true that performance mods won't help much while if you auto-x, some people could care less about auto-x.

Yes you would... that's why you keep your cat.

... crap; you're probably right!

I could just buy another 8. I don't know why anyone would own 2 of the same car though.

I wonder if Shinkateen will sell me his 8 - I'm sure its "super kewl."
