it's in my trunk! the trunk of a car that's parked until april, LOL. hey i was going to get it to you with your pedal but my clothes washer died the day i was going to get together with Brian.
You know what's funny though, i've had 3 people on this forum ask if i actually sell those frames. One even offered to pay me more when i told him i only had one and it was saved for you. Don't worry, i didnt even consider it. I didn't pay for it, not gonna have you pay for it. thing is i can't get anymore... the guy that gave me this one was going to actually get more to sell but he was arrested. He worked for the same company as me, different dept. I guess he was writing fake prescriptions for himself and others. ROFL. The best was, the police came to work to arrest him. when they found him in his office, he was sleeping! They had to actually wake him up to arrest him.
Anyway, yes i still have it and you'll get it. no worries there.

I think I probably did my best to confuse you and everyone else by talking about what the ideal setup would be where you have a sensor in the upper rad, lower rad, and the heater line where the RB sensor goes. That way you would be able to know if there are heating issues and more importantly know where the overheating is occurring.

If i attend the auto show it will be defiantly for 2, possibly for 3 (gf's bro might come)
On the flip side, i marked the day off on our calendar nearly a month before the auto show. Its the only day ive ever asked off for. They might not give me that day off. My friend and supervisor who is making the schedule said he needs me to work like 10-3 at least. I explained to him that it cuts into my schedule but I also let him know that if he needs me ill be there, i owe him a few favors haha

Tickets are supposedly set aside. Like Doc said, free
If by some freak chance that falls through, then tickets are $14.50 according to the Cleveland Autoshow website. You can pay for them online and print them out right at your computer, hah

My kind mother expressed interesting in coming to autoshow... but she thinks everything I do is stupid. . . . . .
So yea, I think it'll be just me.
I'm just going to come out and ask it... how exactly did we get free tickets again? Marlon got them through a vendor or something?
Also, worked out the details to purchase a mazsport pipe so I can be more like Jon, but without the knowledge or the desire to take apart my car when nothing is wrong with it.

Anyone working on their cars this weekend? Or sounds like most everyone is taking the weekend off with the autoshow next weekend.
Ryan - doing your coolant and wiring up you gauges?
Also - just posing a question before I put it out to the masses: My foglights are turning brown. It looks like its carbon or something heating up too much on the bulbs themselves, not the lenses. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I've never taken my foglights off to replace the bulbs... is it pretty easy or do I have to drop the bumper (which would be gay)

I lose sole possession of the garage tomorrow so I have to finish anything that requires the car to be on stands. Too bad. Helluva lot easier to get things done when I've got all that space.

Yeah... thats why I like doing work at the shop... lots and lots of space - but I found out yesterday I'm getting transfered from the plant I'm at now to our Machine Shop (also in Canton) Which is good and bad... its so much cleaner than the shop I'm in now, but I won't have access to the same tools - torches, plasmas, etc. But I really shouldn't be using those as much as I do.
It did come in really handy when switching the brake rotors.
Now you pulled the PCM assembly to do the coolant change or mount the your Water temp sending unit adapter?
Also, don't forget to jack up each side of the car when doing your oil change to drain the oil coolers. I forgot to do this last time I had my car up...

To do a coolant change you don't have to take anything off. You just need a screwdriver, some goggles, and a couple things of distilled water.

Water temp. I had to get at the upper rad hose.

No need. It's really only important to drain all of the oil when you are changing oil weight. Maintainance changes it's kinda a waste and I'm staying at 5w30 for now. Will probably switch to 10w40 on my next change since it should (hopefully) be warm enough that I won't have to worry about the low end.

And with the oil change... why bother changing the oil if you're only going to drain 60-70% of it? I mean, you have your jacks right there.... just raise it up and get it all out. I agree it can be overkill for some changes, but why not to do it, you know?

I'll have to remember that for my coolant change this spring... I've never changed it; so I think it will be time in the near future.

Seriously I have 250 miles on my car since the last oil change.
