hmm, in the process of putting stuff back together i bumped the lock on the door and now it seems as if it does not want to lock.

my remote does nothing even when the car is off, it stay unlocked. if you push the switch for the lock it pushes itself right back out... any ideas?

And amazingly enough the locks fixed themselves?! Anyway on to the even better news, my driver side door is RATTLE FREE!!!!!!!!! (for now). The passenger side door had great results as well however i can still hear one of the foam cubes squeeking when im around 25-30 on volume

My instructor was good. The first classroom session was good, but the other classrooms were complete wastes of time. They were so basic as to be uninformative. Then they completely missed any discussion of driving technique.

Don't forget first NORA autocross next weekend.

I wouldn't mind running at Nelson's with you guys, but money is too tight for me now (plus I still have the bold tires on... unless Doc wants to let me borrow one of his 1000s of tires ).

I'm glad to see you put yourself on the list. I'd consider BeaveRun if the finances work out. Is it the same requirements and setup as Nelson's? What's the cost? I took that day off of work too.

I'll start checking the thrift stores for used helmets since few people here have them. Free lice with every purchase!

On another note, I need spark plugs. Time to research....

Jon John or anyone else is welcome to ride with me. As I said, I have 1 extra size large open face helmet for anyone who needs. I bought an extra for passengers. It's actually fun to watch. That's where I met Tony. There was another guy, scats, from the group there, but he moved away. He was a nice guy.

I also bought some speed bleeders since I'm starting to push the car a little harder.

Anyone going by Summit Racing before the meeting on the 24th? I need some brake fluid picked up.

I went back and looked at the pictures from last year at Nelson Ledges with Tony, I and Scat. Hard to believe they are on page 9!!!!! Amazing.\

They played this video of a formula F1 driver taking his wife for a ride around a track. It is hysterical to watch her facial expressions as the ride goes on while he is cool as a cucumber on a Sunday drive.

Yeah, that's gonna be the deal-breaker right there. $300+ for track fun time in one weekend would probably result in me being forced into checking the 'Single' box on 2009's tax return. Maybe next time.
