Where are you at on the East Side? My offices are in Lyndhurst and out in Auburn.

Reminder to all you "geeky" guys (like me)...
Windows 7 RC is available to download free from Microsoft.
Its a 2.36GB .ISO file.
It won't expire until June 2010, but on May 2010 it'll start shutting off your computer after two hours.
With Windows 7 coming out (hopefully) this fall, the expiration shouldn't affect you.
And if it does, I'm sure they'll be a crack for that

I JUST got settled in with Vista. Now I'm moving to 7? Geesh.

Here's the link for White Wheels:

http://www.whitewheel.com/

Not sure how far East you are but that place is gonna be your best bet for what you want. The only other place well known is the Alinement shop. That might work for you depending on where you are on the East side. I've only been to White to get some tires from Tirerack installed but lots of people from Akron have been to Alinement.

I'm ready to move on.
I liked Windows 7 beta so I have no problem leaving Vista.

RK I have not had this car on the track yet, but plan to do it once in a while. So, this is what I thought would be a reasonable trade-off as the car is my daily driver. I have never done autocross.

Doc, I'm in Shaker. RK, thanks for the link to White's. I'll give them a call to see if they can do this - I don't mind driving as long as they are confident they can take action.

I run mine at -1.2 and -1.6 right now on the track and it works great w/o any additional wear. I'm planning on bumping that up closer to -2/-2 to see how much of a difference it really makes.

Looks like a few of us will be heading to Nelson's Ledges on Saturday depending on the weather. If you can get out and are bored feel free to stop over.

It's a RC...yes...most of those will be broken Banned. Since the OS isn't officially out there are no official drivers. No games support it natively yet because it isn't official, while some might work. From what I have heard about the OS it is pretty stable and is found to be quicker than Vista.

When I ran the beta I had issues running my video editing programs.
But the common user may not have such issues (maybe with games).
I just downloaded the RC version and will install it tomorrow morning (I need to get to bed now).
I'll let you know if I have the same issues with my applications tomorrow.

Win 7 RC1 is spectacular. Compatibility issues are minimal, and everything is super smooth.

Great improvement over vista.

Also, finally got a pic uploaded of the new 8!

Not if you're living in NE Ohio. Showers been predicted since 10-day forecasts came out. But those are about as accurate as me throwing darts. Which is to say they're actually pretty accurate.

Ha! Streets! I know where you live from that picture! Its the duck pond apartments and townhouses, right? I've been there a few times.

Dana: Your pipe got measures in today - drilled tomorrow. Like I said, hoping for welded by the end of the week.

Who all is going to the ledges fun day this Saturday? I may go to observe and learn what a track day looks like... or just continue to work on my farmers tan.

I'm suppose to go, but I may not be able to now.

I gotta go and get a new license and get my plates renewed by Sunday (mah birthday) and I don't have any other time to do it other then Saturday (my weekdays are fubar'd this week)

I'm still gonna try, but I may not be able to make it.

Plus if things work out in my favor (they usually don't) I may be wrenching on the 8 that day instead. WOOT!

I'm going with Tom to BeaveRun Sunday, so I'm not sure if I'm gonna do Nelson on Saturday. I have the kids and need to spend some time with them.

Brian, you're welcome to join us over there.

AND happy bday!
