For as many times as I've been pulled over for stupid stuff. No cop has ever said anything about my lack of front plate.

Wheels look good TJ.

Streets: yeah, settlers landing, but aren't there ducks all over the place there? Like 2-3 duck ponds with fountains and crap? I remember it cause its the first right after a duck crossing sign?

Wow. You guys sure can bail. So Ted, Brian, and Mark are out. That leaves me and Tony I think though I can't remember if he had to work or not that day. Otherwise it might just be me. That'll suck.

I better make sure my buddy is going out to play with his Vette.

You guys know you can relocate the plate to under the front bumper, right? Front windshield is illegal so you're lucky to have been able to get away w/o a ticket so far. Eventually it'll hit you tho.

Oh shut it you! I haven't said I am officially out yet, but if certain things come in this week then I can almost say for sure I will be wrenching on the 8 instead of coming out.

If said stuff doesn't come in and I manage to get out of the DMV reasonably early then I'll scoot out for the afternoon session

Mark: Thanks for the pre-birthday wishes. Depending on what my mom wants to do Sunday (the whole mothers day thingy) I may try and scoot out and snag some pics of you guys at BeaveRun.

I ran last year on my birthday out there. They were about to sign me off to run in Group 3 and then one of the instructors tanked a students car (totalled) back in turn 11 I believe. They didn't advance anyone that day because of that...

I'll have to dig for some pics of that day.

TJ: Thos wheels look WAY better on your car then Megans. I knew they would look good on a dark colored car. Nice pickup.

Nope no ponds/fountains in my development. There are tons of aparments in streetsboro though, and I'm sure most of them look the same.

1s and 2s are running first, so we should be done by 1. They are running split sessions. Home by 3!

$160 but it works...

WHAT!? What the Freak, man?! Don't you back out on me now! I leave the forum unattended for a couple of days and the whole Nelson's group disolves. Fine. As Eric Cartman would say "Screw you guys...I'm going [to Nelson's]"

I'll be there, Ryan and John, as long as it's not pouring cats and dogs. Even if it is raining hard, I might go for a half day to get some more experience tracking in the wet conditions.

Talked to my buddy again last night and he's going. There should be some very fun cars around us too. 50/50 we'll see something of an Italian on the track.

I know we just had our boneyard meet, but has anyone thought about something in early June?
June 12th is the 2nd friday in June.

Just throwing that out there.

Also, who is going to this BeaveRun stuff?
The more I look at the Ledges Fun day this weekend, the more I want to give it a try... but, car isn't ready yet!

Still telling you that a fun day isn't the right way to pop your track cherry. It's not exactly safe and a fun day with rain included should scare just about anyone. The Beaver Run thing would probably be a much better first experience.

As for the meet we've got the Montrose Rolex Grand-Am 'preparty' on the weekend of the 12th. Might as well just roll up to that.

Track > No track... but like I said, I still have some additional prep work to do to the car before I consider a track day or even AutoX.

The 12th sounds like it would be pretty neat. The 14th is my 26th birthday... woot woot! Hopefully I won't celebrate like I did last year with my first speeding ticket.

Ledge's was my very first track.. and yes, I agree Beaverun would be a great place to start, but ledge's isn't terrible persay, teaches you to respect the track and not go *****-out to the point you're going to lose control I suppose :/
