It offers the greatest weight change from what I have read. Power increase is like 8 or 9 whp if I remember right. That is about the same as Greddy and Racing Beat if I remember right.

I don't believe there is much weight savings however it does help balance out the car a little more and should give you a little more power. Most people who want weight savings are going to have to build their own.

Stock catback is ~38lbs. This is listed as ~40lbs but might be less.

But if you are looking for a street legal exhaust for your red racer and you don't want to make your own this is a very good deal.

40lbs is the shipping weight and 38lbs is the actual weight of stock. So minus box and what not I bet it is in the 30 - 35lbs range.

Doc...not gonna be able to swing by for my box today. You gonna be in tomorrow by chance?

Doesn't look like Fluid's weights are accurate (and John they're not shipping weights - he's got some at 30lbs).

Looks like the HKS is 23lbs so you'd be shaving almost 15lbs off, get a couple HP, and balance the driver weight better.

Pictures show this coming out drivers side. Wouldn't you want it on the passengers side for weight distribution??

Imagine you can just flip it around but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask. Those may be RHD cars or people installing it may just be stupid.

Edit: Weird. I think you're right. mysql says in that post that it's to eliminate bends.

Well you still have the weight savings but would affect corner balancing a bit. Might want to take that into consideration for your next alignment.

Ive seen pictures of it out both sides. I wonder if it is the difference between the high flow and the legamax exhaust though.

You couldn't flip it over as the hangers would go the wrong direction.

Any reason to not get this catch can? Maybe just snag some higher quality tubing.

Do you have the TSB that moves the oil overflow hose from the intake to the maint ports done? If not you can just do that instead of buying the catch can.

Mark if you need a hand putting that on I'll be glad to lend one.

You're probably not going to be able to put it out the passenger side by the looks of the bend in the pipe. I was thinking you could just have the hangers cut off and re-welded, but from the looks of the routing it may push it too far out and you'll run into the side of the shroud and possibly not be able to clear the opening.

Either way, lemme know if you want me to help out.

Not sure. Of course the maint. techs at the dealership told me all TSB's were complete, but I have no idea.

Anything I can just look for under the hood to see if it was done, or should I just get them moving on faxing me the service history?

Yes...off of the top the oil filler plastic piece there is a tube that comes out the front. If it goes driver side it goes to the intake, if it goes towards that passenger it goes to the maint port.

Edit: TSB w/ Pictures

check to see if you have this hose that runs from the oil fill tube to the "accordian" part of the intake, right before the throttle body. If you do, then the TSB is not done.
