The car show and bands are Friday night, not Saturday.

I vaguely remember telling someone I'd pick them up a new one after an unfortunate herculian effort at getting the box back on.

I believe I also offered duct tape.

I'm surprised you've never gone for an AutoX ride, John. I'd offer but I'm gonna be in Cincy this weekend plus I'm the exact opposite of 'smooth' dodging cones.

If you ever want a spin out tho just hop in with me on my first run.

If you want a ride in a car with an ungodly stiff suspension that handles like it's on rails then let me know. I'll be glad to beat your kidneys up a little bit

You -could- have someone drive your car for you. Megan's usually looking for an RX8 to drive and she managed mine a lot better than I did and did less harm to it then Brian did to his.

Speaking of that I finally took off the oil adapter and think it just wasn't tight enough which was giving me a slow leak. Looks like it's running clean (literally) now.

Definately come out.

Saturday is the Charity autocross and I believe they are expecting a lot of noobs so it will be the perfect chance to hop out and scoot the 8 around. Don't worry about a helmet because they have plenty, and I believe they also bought 10? more in anticipation of more noobs.

The way Saturday is going to run is the NORA members and experienced people are going to run first (2 groups) then the rookies will run all in a group of their own, so that there will be plenty of expierenced driveres to ride along with the rookies.

Sunday wil be just like any other regular points event.

It will prove to be a good time for sure!

lol.

Megan is running my car on Saturday, then she is going to be moving up into a different car

She got offered to co-drive the FSP Imprezza at local and National events. Jay Storm and Ed George had been watching her and noticing her getting better so they tossed the offer out to her to co drive their car and take her "under their wing" so to speak to make her uber better.

Apparently what I taught her in the beginning stuck.

I have a spare helmet I'll toss in my car and bring up for you. It's an open face helmet. That way you don't have bum helmets off of people

LOL, oh boy John, you really set yourself up there. And if you want a ride in Brian's 8, you're more than willing to jump with me lol. And Ryan, thanks again for letting me drive the car lol, definitely was fun. I'm looking forward to see the difference between Doc's, Ryan's and Brian's 8... and to think, I'm just getting use to the rx-8's and now I'm going to the suburu *yikes*

Streets - I saw you again this morning, everytime I'm running late I seem to see you scoot by on the pike lol

Bedford's service department has a little habit of charging you for things and then not actually doing the work. I discovered that firsthand. When confronted they deny, and when shown proof they promise to "get back to you." That's not to say they don't have a decent sales dept., but I'll never bring my car back to that place.

Do NOT use Mazda Bedford. I bought my 40th EA there. Absolutely NO follow through.

Montrose Mazda well worth the couple extra miles drive. They have been Excellent in service!

Mazda of Bedford is supposedly one of the top 10 Mazda service departments nationwide according to them.

I'm thinking about coming out to watch the Auto-X this Saturday, I don't know if i'll run though. If i did I would have to find some magnetic numbers since all i've ever used is polish or tape and both don't count apparently.

How many of you guys are planning on being there?

You can just print out a number on a white paper and tape it on.

So far as I know. Brian, Doc, Meg, DB (lot's of rides), Vyndictive Steve, Jaime from the 6 club in my car. Come on out and run.

I've got spare bronze numbers that ended up being too dark for my car. I think they'd work on yours though. 8's and 0's. Pretty sure I even have extra magnetic sheets if you want enough to make two B's and S's.

If you're in town before Saturday I'll be around Friday night not driving to Cincy until Sat. AM. Could probably drop them off with Doc or Megan as well if you want.

Come to think of it if someone needs a helmet who has a medium sized head I can loan that out too.
