I have asked before...no response. That car is ALWAYS up there though. Based on the parking spot and the hours...Im going to have to say it is someone that works at the Hound.

I've also secured the fundage for the intake. If it rains this weekend, maybe we can meet up to make the exchange. Let me know.
That's funny... but I would rather be doing a bathroom renovation than a roof.

I would love to install the midpipe sometime next week/weekend, but I still haven't received a tracking number... I hope Scott can get it sent out before the weekend.

Saturday may not be the best day to meet (I have my dad coming over to help maneuver the one piece tub/surround into the bathroom). But Sunday and through-out the week I'm free (or willing to take a break from the bathroom).

Not a problem. I'm going to be uber-busy with the roof, trying to get it done on the days that it doesn't rain. I'm doing the job all by my lonesome too. That's right- 1500sq.ft. of tear off....three layers.....then replace.

I'll still buy your intake.....if I'm not dead.

Sunday I am headed out to my rents to open the pool but if you want a hand on Monday Tony I'd be happy to come over and pound nails for a few hours weather permitting.

According to Fox8... Sunday and Monday is supposed to be rainless...
but we all know how Ohio weather changes quicker than a hiccup.

Tony, I'll PM you my cell # and you can give me a call sometime after Saturday to meet up.
If not, I should see you on the 6th and we'll exchange there (if you're still going).

Welcome in. You can pay ur dues if you stop in at the boneyard next Friday.

You aren't the ng I've been seeing parked downtown by the lizard a couple Fridays in a row, are you? Always good to have more greens running around.

Passed red on the way home from work last night on 77. He got off at brecksville rd before 480. Had a black bra on his front bumper. Made me sad.

I ran into Goperage in a Rest Area on the Turnpike yesterday on his way to Bowling Green. I was heading to Evolution Driving School in Detroit.

Alright, I keep seeing 8's pop up all over the place. Normally I would brush it off, but it seemed like I saw more 8s than cavaliers yesterday.

WB 8 parked at Chipotle on Bagley Road - Saturday at 12ish?

And Grey and Black 8's park at Baldwin Wallace College - Kamm Hall - I see them whenever I have class.

I look forward to meeting all of you this weekend

Jon- Sorry to hear about your car.

The Evolution Driving School was AWESOME. It's expensive but I have a much better handle on what to do and how to get there. I took Phase 1 and 2 over 2 days. I'll probably go back in a year for a refresher. I HIGHLY recommend it if anyone is seriously interested in autocross. Better to spend a few bucks on the driver of the car, than almost any part, at this stage of the game.

Is anyone running at Lakeland this Sunday? Tony, Beth? Josh? John Boy,.,,,,,Sue Ellen..............?

Ryan,

Why Z5 first. I put Z2 down, then Z5 over. Is that not right??

REMINDER EVERYONE: Meet this Friday 7pm Boneyard in Broadview Hts. Park between Boneyard and Handels. Corner Rte 82 and Broadview Rd.

What tires did you get??? Sure, I finally learn to drive and you raise the bar with tires............I'm never gonna catch up (I ordered tires too......... )

I bought the Hancooks that Paynes are riding. Won't have them til next week though. I can't do Northfield, so It'll be awhile before I run them.

How did you get the Kumho's??? I thought they were completely out of stock and backordered forever???

I like the wheels. Did you get them in pink?

The evolution school was awesome. Many well meaning people trying to help me but misunderstanding and sometimes inaccurate suggestions were confusing. I distinctly remember you saying with time you see the cones differently. NOW I begin to understand. They had a number of exercises to force you to see things differently. I picked up 2 or 3 seconds in my day

Can't wait to see what that translates into on the course.

The one instructor was a national champion in RX7s. So he was excellent at showing me the "feel" of the edge. I needed that. However, the cones may never be the same........................cone killer!

As I said a while ago I had picked up an AFE ShortShifter. I have decided to turn around and sell it without installing it. I am offering it to you guys before I throw it in the parts for sale section. I paid $250 for it with a "free" VooDoo **** which I have fallen in love with. So I am offering it to you guys for $215. Everyone said that it is the greatest thing since sliced bread, I have just decided that I could spend the money better elseware on my car since I don't plan on racing it.

I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference but from reading 723 threads about it the Z5 seems to work more as a restorative where it brings darker paints back to life and helps smudge out paint chips/scratches. Since my car has a lot of minor chips/scratches, it's dark paint, and I had never done this I figured I'd use more Z5 then most.

The Z2 seems to be the primary Zaino polish and it's meant more to give your car a mirror finish/shine. Sounds like most of the people with lighter colors just use Z2 and the people who use Z5 use it first to restore and follow with the Z2 to finish. Almost every application I read about on the forums seemed to indicate that ending with Z2 (and then either Z6 or if you've shelled out for it the Z8) was the best move. But like I said I'm thinking with this product it doesn't really make a huge difference what order you go in as long as you put Z6 between.

I did 2 coats with Z5 and only 1 coat with Z2 wiht the Z6 in between all 3. I was getting tired and wanted to drive some so I figured 3 coats was enough. Pics are in the stickied Zaino thread in the Show & Shine.

https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...&postcount=104

Shame those #*(&*^($ from MazdaParts.com haven't shipped my clear corners. It was the perfect day for it. Kinda sucked sitting in the garage for most of it but totally worth it when I drove the shiniest car on the highway.

Oh and you can read about Beth's adventures with TireRack and see all the other RX8 people ticked because she got her tires so fast in the Competition forum.

I'll take it. It's on my list. Bring it by on Friday if your going.

Damn I may end up getting my intake and exhaust on Friday too. I may be done with mods for the Summer.

Assuming I ever get my #$*(#$ clear corners.
