Thanks for trying to lend me the numbers Ryan, but ya I ended up printing them off because I thought Doc was supposed to have them and he said he didn't so I just used the ones they provided. Owell thanks for trying to lend them to me I appreciate it. Next time I get a chance to run Auto-X maybe i can get a chance to try them out.
Megz it was nice to meet you too, although thinking back on it now I think i might have met you up at an Eastlake autox awhile ago. And you didn't miss anything when it comes to my runs haha I'm not that good I just do it for fun![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
John those are some awesome pictures thanks as always for taking them and posting them online.

OK everybody...big misunderstanding with Marlon on the Montrose thing. It is this Sat and Sun...no Friday...and when he said 830 he meant 830 AM. The event is from 10AM - 4PM Sat and Sun. I can ONLY do Sat and am down for an all day affair. I know that many of you are not normally down for an all day affair but whatever we can get will be greatly appreciated.

Saturday June 13-10:00am-4:00PM
We need acouple of people to manage the corral parking, we need as many Mazda's we can get to come and represent the various clubs. I would advise beiong there no later that 9:30AM, in order to have it organized.
We will need a couple of sign handlers, you wil be wearing the driving suits that we have from Charles and Jeff, so let me know who is in. We will also need help with serving food and drink, possibly shuttling people from the Wal-mart parking lot to the dealership.
We may need help wioth registration as we expect a large number of non-Mazda owners showing up, as well as a lot of Mazda owners.
After the event, the volunteers will be invited to a after-party @ The Barley House in the warehouse district, we will be moving a couple of the Freedom Autosports cars into the valet are for display. This is a private party for the teams, volunteers and dealership employeees.
Sunday the start time is 12:00PM-5:00PM
So everything and everyone should be at the dealership by 11:30AM . If you want to volunteer for a certain position, PM and let me know.
Finally, there will be a VIP party on Wednesday June 17, 2009, we are expecting a number of teams from the Grand-Am series, officials, drivers, crew and volunteers.
Freedom Autosports is already here, Pirate Motorsports is expected, Maxwell Paper's RX-8 is scheduled and we are waiting to see if Michael Shank Racing will ne bringing there DP Ford Powered Cars to the event.
We are looking to host SpeedSource, Dempsey Racing or Racers Edge on Wednesday, June 17th event, John Doonan will let me know once he returns from Europe.
The Nonnamakers will be providing Subway Sandwiches, Pepsi will have a truck there and also there will be a Bud truck on hand. The public will be asked for a donation for charity, as a volunteer you will be fed and watered.

Jon, changed the plugs out last night and measured and recorded all the gaps.
The ones in the engine:
Front Rotor: Lead - 1.1mm Trail - 1.2mm
Rear Rotor: Lead - 1.3 mm Trail - 1.15mm
New plugs:
Lead 1- .95mm Trail 1- .85mm
Lead 2- .90mm Trail 2- .75mm
I couldn't use the spark plug gapper I had because there really isn't any way to get it in the round disk into the plug because of their design. I was however able to use my feeler gauges and get them in quite nicely. I think it was more accurate that way anyway.
I opened up the gap on the plugs a tiny bit to within spec and put them in and the car runs just fine.

Jon could you explain to me how to interpret all the data you posted from the 6 site? Like what the numbers mean? I understand the second section is the class you run it but I don't know what the #'s mean.

Well, I didn't make it through the weekend unscathed. . . last night leaving work my airbag light on the dash started flashing, then went solid. Hasn't gone away yet. I'll do some searching today, but if anyone has already had this happen to them and knows what it could be, let me know.
EDIT: Okay, after some searching, I guess this is common on the '04s. (Weird, a common problem on '04s? That never happens.) Says sensors loose under the seats have worked for most poeple, so I'm assuming that is what it is considering I removed the wiring for my radar detector and that ran under my passenger seat. I read in one post that this is a safety recall, but another post simply called it a TSB. If its a safety recall, I may have to pay my best friends at Park Mazda Wooster a visit. hehehehe.

Steve I would just disconnection and reconnect both airbag connections before you waste your time with the drive up to the dealer. From what I have seen it fixes it 99% of the time.

hey guys, i finally found a place in hilton head that has some wifi so i cna keep in touch, sounds like im gonna miss a fun weekend. but at least my clear corners and strakes will be waiting for me when i get back = D
steve- that problem happened to me last winter and it turned out ot be the harness coming loose, when i took it to the dealer they took care of it free of charge due to a recall or tsb (cant remember which) but if you know how to mess with it sounds like it'd be easier just to avoid a headache with the dealer just in case im mistaken.
