^ Dibs on springs and maybe the blacked out corners.
Hmm, I guess we figured out that the midpipe in cancerous? My car has been running great recently! lol.
Honestly though TJ. I was at the same place when we couldn't figure out my SSV and my stalling. The car was like a sick baby, it couldn't tell me what was wrong with it and each thing we tried didn't seem to do a thing. Took it to the doctor's (dealer) and they just say, well, the cars worth 9 and it'll cost about 7k out the door to repair. So, thing seemed pretty hopeless.
Anyway, the point is that just keep researching and trying different fixes. You'll feel so good when you (or Jon) figures out the problem and you get it back to running order. Unless you fail a compression test, which means new engine time anyway. Yeah, right now it sucks and I remember telling Jon about how I was really thinking about getting rid of it just because it seemed I had about 4 problems all at once. Just stick it out, you know money isn't the main problem here, little miss new wheels, strakes, springs, corners! lol.

Ryan seemed to like his Borla, but I don't like the price tag.
And everyone has a different opinion on sound and what they like.
Some like it as quiet as possible, some like a deep growl, some like it loud.
So we can give you our opinion, but its based on what WE like to hear... not you.

If you haven't done this before, then I wouldn't suggest attempting it. If you don't know what you are doing you can literally kill yourself. It's not that hard to do, but if you make a mistake and the spring unloads and hits you in the face, well, lets just say I wouldn't want to be around for that one.
Here's the tricky part... Depending on how low you are going with your springs and how many miles are on your stock shocks, you might be, eh scratch that.. You WILL be better off getting dampers too and doing them both at the same time. If you don't get a set of dampers that are suited for a shorter stroke (used with lowering springs) then you are going to wear out your stock dampers and your car will ride like ****. Once the dampers go it will feel like you are riding around on a trampoline every time you hit a bump. The higher the mileage on your stock dampers, the shorter the life once you put lowering springs on.
Now, all that being said, I've lowered more cars then I can count. That also being said, I have all the tools to do it (air compressor, air tools, spring compressors, experience

Unless you come down to my house on July 3rd. I am putting a set of Koni DA's on a buddies 3s.
So, if you get them next week and want to come down to my house on the 3rd of July I'll be more then happy to put them on your car. It will take about 3 hours to do it privided we don't run into any trouble. (that's counting beer and smoke breaks.

). Depending on when you want to put these on I can do it for you. The thing is though, I autocross every other weekend, and next weekend (July 4th and 5th) I have 2 events. So unless you get them today or tomorrow I wouldn't be able to help you out untill the 14th of July.

okay, well im just making sure either A) they sent me a V.1 intake instead or B) i ordered the V.1 on accident. most likely it'll be the second one. but if wires dont work out thats my next stop is the intake. i think if wires dont work i may just swap the intake out regardless of whether its the problem. know of any good ones at all?
