Seems like we all haven't gotten together for a while. Anybody up for beers Friday??
Lisa is hot. Needs some dental work though. Do you really want a girl with a bigger toolbox than yours? She probably won't share.
James Tyler Kicked some butt at the AX this weekend. By my calculations, he took 2nd overall. We were 4 and 5 in the morning. But I didn't have as good an afternoon. Jamie kept up the pace. Congrats!!
My unofficial calculations show Jamie 2nd combined and I took 6th. This doesn't include the ProClass cars.

My household just got a lot more interesting. We just turned in the Maxima my wife normally drives and leased a new 370Z. We won't take delivery on it until Monday. She had been talking about being interested in one, but I'm absolutely stunned that she actually went ahead and did it.
![Grouphug](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/grouphug.gif)
I'm really interested in the 370 because it really looks like they addressed the problems with the 350. And I think it looks better; less butch and slightly more retro, but without trying to be retro.
Auto X people: Sounds like I missed a great weekend. RX8s in the top 10, I just would have made the car look bad. Congrats to all who drove and did well.
Meg: I saw on facebook you got to drive a go-cart also!
Jon and John: I haven't watched the exhaust video yet, but if you'd like to re-shoot, that would be fine with me. Jon, that screw fix might be a shortcut I wouldn't even had taken. . . but you can't argue if it gets the job done.
TJ: I'll throw that plate frame in my car, and you have a 33% chance of me bringing the right vehicle. Ha.
With regards to the midpipe; I agree with Brian - don't push it too much with the parents. And I wouldn't go with an exotic speed midpipe, or "race pipe". Its loud and raspy and otherwise sounds like crap. The Mazsport and now the RB are really the only ways to go with a mid-pipe that you can live with comfortably. (In my opinion).

We can do Akron - Fairlawn - Chapel Hill area. That's not too bad. Or Boneyard works too. I just remember some of the Club 6 guys saying they get together informally every friday at the Quaker steak in north canton.
On a separate topic: anyone know of good deals or good brands of sway bars? I haven't learned much about them, but my instincts tell me that a steel bar is a steel bar, larger = stronger, but heavier. And it will only be as good as how it connects to the car. So, bushings and endlinks should also be upgraded.
Thoughts from those locals willing to learn me something new? I know AP offers some, but honestly, I think AP just got lucky with the exhaust system and their products aren't really that good.
But throw in your 2 cents.

Yes...I was hoping we could film on Friday. That way Jon can get some sleep and hopefully we can get somewhere and film before it is dark if we are down there since you have to work.

Jon + John: Friday to film sounds good.
Whatever location we pick is fine with me also.
Doc: I was going to do front and rear sways before looking at coil-overs somewhere down the line.
I have heard so many mixed reviews about sways. Some say they're a great mod and you can really feel the difference. Others say that they're only a minor improvement. I would guess that they are not a huge mod, but should be noticeable.

My understanding. And I'm probably wrong. Is that the fronts aren't that noticable. The rears definitely make a difference. That's why you can't change the rears for B Stock, but can do the front. I don't know. I personally did not notice a huge difference with the fronts.
Well, I'll keep my eyes open for a decent used pair I guess. Does Ryan have sways? I assume so, but I don't know.
Perhaps I'll just wait for his part out.

Well, there is an Ice Arena next to the Akron-Canton Airport that would probably work fine. Little to no traffic because its essentially a dead end st, and they seldom fill their parking lot.
Google Maps shows their parking lot, also, you can see how they have half a hockey rink painted on it... should give you an idea of size.
Center Ice Sports Complex
8319 Port Jackson Ave NW, Canton, OH
Should be enough to get up to 40 at a reasonable time.
Or there are a few places in Massillon that could work, but its farther... even for me.
