Partout!

Ok. Think I've decided this puppy aint gonna sell as is so I'm starting the partout.

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...17ieS2GUNpudMg

Here's the rules:

1) Things in color are sold together unless nobody wants them together at which time they get split.

2) The only item that requires an OEM part in return is the gauge pod kit and the only things I need in return is your upper center dash piece (the one I had to cut to install the pod) and probably your upper Rad hose. If you buy the shocks/springs I am planning on swapping the coilovers with your coilovers and then giving you my OEM shocks/springs so you have a backup.

3) I may want to trade for your OEM wheels/tires for one of my sets so depending on the set and your tires will depend on how much mine would be.

4) For now anyone interested in a part can call Dibs. I'm going to try to sort this out so if multiple people want something off my car everybody gets a piece of it but that'll be played by ear based on what you want. If you want a part but don't have the money or don't think it's worth that much feel free to lowball me or ask me about when you can pay me.

5) It's pretty much expected that you will just bring your car over to Akron and we'll do any pulling/swapping there and you'll help me and I'll help you. But I am just going to start pulling things off on 8/8 and keep the car in the garage until I've got everything off.

6) If for some reason I end up needing a OEM part (like a bolt or something) we'll take it off yours if we can and I'll buy you a new one.

7) These prices are just for the people I've met locally. If you're peeking in on this thread from somewhere else feel free to contact me but I'm keeping everything local for now.

Here's a link to the stuff with prices. I priced almost everything 'new' from Fluid and didn't include shipping costs. If he didn't stock it (like the AFE SS) I went with the price I'd use if I was buying it.

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...17ieS2GUNpudMg

EDIT: I have to check on how much pad I have left on the ceramic pads and the Cobalt Friction pads (which I didn't list) before pricing those out.

Oh and if for some reason Google confounds you here's an image. First time I've used their online spreadsheet so hopefully it works.

Woops. One other thing. No payments or actual product delivery until after Aug 2nd. I still have to go fast at Nelsons Ledges one last time and I'd hate to either drive the car without the stuff I've added to make it so much more fun to take on a track OR to have your money in hand and then wreck the car (and your part!).

And if you can save it all for one email rather than shooting off single dibs that'll probably be easier. Ya'll have at least a week and a half to get your dibs in.

I don't think so. It was a pretty big PITA to get that thing out and in again.

I bet most of it will sell rather quickly honestly. Used parts are always a better deal than new.

Plus installation and removal assistance always helps.

You're welcome to tag along if you want TJ... didn't think you would want to drive all the way to Canton and then Macedonia.
So what are we going to help install now?

Jon - Steve called and said he doesn't have his laptop but that he got the OK from the rink for us to tape tomorrow without issue. They recommended a street for the 40mph pass...but I think we should be ok. What time you want to meet up tomorrow Jon?

Hey, I ran and got my computer tonight...

Anyway, 4pm was the time I was thinking,
And I'll be there.
TJ, you're more than welcome to come too, I posted the address of the rink a few pages back.

Ryan, please try to make it tomorrow, I'd like to take a ride in you car for no particular reason. Perhaps drive it if you're open to the idea.

hah i'd like to come along but idk if its worth the drive now that i think about it, cuz its like an hour drive to go film with you guys and then 45 minutes to outback and then another 45 minutes to go back home from macedonia. so i think ill just meet you guys at outback, and i may be bringing brandon too.

I read through it a long time ago... its drawn out, yes, however, I think it is do-able considering we don't have serious time constraints to make it happen. We'll also be using an overhead beam (jib) crane, not an engine hoist.

I really should just splurge and get new clutch+flywheel if we do it this way also. Along with the headers that never come up for sale used because no one would ever take them off!!

My only real fear in doing this is breaking something along the way that works fine... you know?

TJ, Macedonia is about a 20 min drive. 30 tops. Just go straight across 82 towards I271. The outback is right on 82. Don't take the freeways.

Hey guys.

I ended up selling my 8 a couple of weeks back. I got almost 12k for it (from park akron no less) so I took a very minor equity hit. Picked up an 08 Mazda 3. It kills me a little inside every time I drive it, but I have essentially split my gas bill in half (not to mention I got a better loan as well). I doubt I will dump any money into it for mods.

I have already told myself that if mazda goes through with an 16x rotary I will be the first in line to buy one.

I will probably keep my eye here and on 6 club for some meets.
