Adding to the snow tire discussion, I made the mistake of thinking all-seasonal tires would be okay for the Cleveland winters and it really wasn't that bad as long as the snow was no higher than the bottom of your doors. But yes, if you plan on driving your 8 on a daily basis in the winter, snow tires are a MUST! Either that or get a cheap winter beater.

Heh. I think the factory probably DID recommend 5w30. It's management who wrote 5w20 in the manual. :D

Is the meet on Friday at the Boneyard? Where is it and what time? Anyone interested in buying a nearly new (about 100 miles on it) non-resonated midpipe for $165?

I think you'd just take 80, get off onto 77 north, and the first exit is rt 82 (about 2 miles N of 80). Go west on 82 about 5 minutes and the Boneyard is on the right.

If you come down 480 you'd get off at 77 south. Get off on rt 82 W about 5 miles south of 480 (it's a split exit so take the first ramp going to 'Broadview Heights').

You could also just come all the way up 82 but generally that's a little longer and there are lots of cops in North Royalton watching when it gets down to 25.

Damn... I had a single resonated mid-pipe and it was annoyingly loud... this is why I purchased the dual resonated mid-pipe. I couldn't imagine what a non-resonated mid-pipe sounds like.

I'll be there but am too computer illiterate to add my name to the list. I guess this shows my age.

I might show up earlier since I've never been down there before.

Yeah, it was a bit loud for me too, plus I would like to have cat to help cut the noise. Some people like the sound, but I'm nearly 36, so it must be my age!

Meet is at BoneYard Broadview Heights. From 480 take 77S to SR 82. Take 82 West for about 2 miles or so and it is on the right. Meet is at 7PM.

I thought it was the Boneyard in Lyndhurst not Broadview Hts... did it get changed or did I get messed up? And I was planning on getting there around 6 maybe a little after.

No one likes that sound. The flames out the **** are fun tho. I'd love to get it for track days but right now I'm over extended on mods and I'm not gonna be able to swap my cat with a midpipe until I get a garage. Besides the smell is what keeps me from looking at a midpipe. Not the noise. The noise keeps me from the high flow cat.

Hmmm... Reminding me why I don't go to the Boneyard for happy hours anymore. It's like Romper Room in there sometimes. And the signs at the bar mentioning that kids aren't allowed doesn't quite work when cartoon network is always on.

It should be a good place for a meet. Probably gonna be a little busy if the 90 degrees and sunny holds up. We may have to park a good ways away from the Boneyard but in the lot.

You're probably best off hopping on 80 and getting off at 77 if you're coming from Hudson. Worth the 50 cents to avoid the headache that is Macedonia.

I've been sort of keeping an eye out for a mid-pipe, but we'll have to talk about how loud we're talking here... We can talk about tomorrow. But I am interested.

I sold Kevin my single resonated mid-pipe a few weeks ago.
I'm not sure if he is coming tomorrow... but if he does, that'll give you an idea on the noise level.
If noise is a problem, get the MazSport dual resonated mid-pipe.
