Hey guys.
I ended up selling my 8 a couple of weeks back. I got almost 12k for it (from park akron no less) so I took a very minor equity hit. Picked up an 08 Mazda 3. It kills me a little inside every time I drive it, but I have essentially split my gas bill in half (not to mention I got a better loan as well). I doubt I will dump any money into it for mods.
I have already told myself that if mazda goes through with an 16x rotary I will be the first in line to buy one.
I will probably keep my eye here and on 6 club for some meets.

You stayed in the mazda family, so that's cool too. So, not a traitor!

I was pretty lucky actually, the guy from park really hooked me up since we just bought my Wifes 6 from him a month prior.
Looks like they already sold the 8 too, its not listed on the site anymore.

You'd get there by taking 80 east to rt 8 and just take that north all the way to Macedonia.
streetsrx8 - did you just sell it to them directly or use it as a trade in?

okay ill do that then, but apparently the springs i bought from "blamerobb" arent tanabe gf210's because i sold em to some guy in wisconsin and he called tanabe and rsr since i shipped them in an rsr box and there neither one of those springs and now he's filing a paypal dispute with me because he thinks im a scammer. what the hell.

And anything else I can upgrade while I'm in there... clutch flywheel, etc.
and if I can find the upper intake bolt and my 10mm socket, that would be great too
Doc: One of your rotors really worries me. It seems one side is worn way down and the other side isn't worn at all. Probably from a stuck caliper which seem to be so common.
I'm getting all types of chatter from the one side being so thin. I'm going to ask one of the guys to run it on a bigger lathe (that I'm not qualified to run) and see if they can get it. other wise, I'll really have to do some brain storming.

OR, just offer the guy a full refund minus shipping because you didn't know. Can't be a scammer if don't take his money. I'm sure you tried to explain the circumstances, but he doesn't care.

i sent him the thread i bought them from and i paid 130 plus shipping and i sold them for 125 plus shipping so idk, but blamerobb pmed me back and he thinks the guy i sold them to is ripping me off because blamerobb apparently compared them to one of his friends who has tanabegf210's and they are identical. idk whats going on one of these two guys is ripping me off and idk which one.

he wants me to pay for shipping though, not that i care its like ten bucks but still im afraid if the person i sold them to is trying to rip me off that ill refund the money and never get the springs back. because im talking to both blamerobb and this "viper" guy that i sold them to and blamerobb story seems a lot more believable then the guy i sold them to.

Trade. I dont think I would have got as much if I hadn't bought a car from them a month before. The 3 I got was also a service loaner, so they hid a lot of the extra money they gave me in profits made from using it for service. It only had 8300 miles on it

Interesting to know, none the less.
Ryan: Thanks for letting me throw your car around slightly.
The Borla sounded pretty good also, even with the stock cat. Better than my old racing beat for sure and not as "look at me!" as the AP is.
