Actually that'd be a pretty good bar to meet but I'd suggest the one in Montrose over the one in Medina. They're both off rt18 but the one in Montrose is off 77 and 18 so it's a little easier for everyone to get to. There's an outdoor patio linked with the parking lot though I'm not sure if you could get a real big party into there.
Parking lot is pretty big (shared with an Acme grocery store) but it gets kinda crowded on Friday nights. Not enough bars in Montrose. Oh and fair warning they have Karoeoke.
And Doc there's a Stricklands right next door if you bring the pit crew.

There are 2 on Medina Road (rt 18) this is the one in Akron/fairlawn/montrose.
Specials on Friday:
Fish Sandwiches 5.99
Fish Dinner 8.99
. . . Catholics. . .
Couldn't find a beer list online.

I was taking it real wide, I think it was the hard left after the 2nd slalom in the AM runs ... note the tread marks from the other cars... I wasn't too far off. Besides, I won the rookie class, that means I don't have to listen to anyone anymore about anything. Its in the autocross rules.
------------------------------------
Speaking of listening to you guys. Brian knows I am in the market for wheels and tires. This started as looking for a dedicated autocross and potentially future track tire. However, it has now illustrated how much I have gotten tired of the stock wheels.
Lets assume you can unload the stockers for 100 bucks a wheel. (w/o my "everlasting generals")
so there is 400 bucks... and the wheels I'm looking at are on special. Heavy and cheap, good for D.D duties, and I LOVE the way they look. (Attached)
So... shipped to me with lugs and rings included and getting my old tires put on these, around 600-625... So. call it 200 bucks to upgrade my DD wheels... thoughts???

As you get better, you are going to want lighter wheels. You're a very competitive guy and you may regret buying heavier wheels. But if you love them, that's up to you.

Steve,
No offense, so I'll put this as nice as I can...
They don't have an alibi
They ugly
yeah yeah they ugly
![Lol](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/lol.gif)
Sorry hehe
Now that I got that out of my system, as long as you are happy with them that's all that matters
. Keep in mind though that a competative tire in an 18" diameter is going to be expensive
That also being said, you stated you are going to use them for daily use, which then they will be just fine for as you can get a "decent" tire for them and still be low on cost (relatively speaking of course)

There are huge understatements, and then there is this....
I wasn't clear with my stupidity. It is hard to follow.
Step 1: Buy Ugly wheels. (they're on sale too.)
Step 2. Move General UHPs & TPSM to ugly wheels
Step 3. Sell stock wheels.
Step 4: (Over the winter) Buy 17x8 or 8.5 wheels used for autoX/track.
Step 5: buy better rubber for autocross/track.
Look at bank account and cry myself to sleep.

lol. Good plan.
To be honest the wheels aren't that bad, I just never favored a split spoke like that. If the "5" spokes were solid the wheel would look much better imho instead of being a split 5 spoke.
I just had to give you a little **** earlier. :P

You've got more spokes than brain cells....
burn.
The tire rack pic doesn't do it justice... I think they would look good. Each time I look on tire rack, they're the ones I like the best. . .
It should really bother me that they're on a camry, but that is about my day-to-day driving style with the 8.
Sad part is that I've always loved 3 spoke wheels even though I know most of the time they look like absolute garbage... and the only decent ones for the 8 appear to be super advan from the Japanese market for like 600 bucks per wheel. i don't think so...

At least my brain cells know to get closer to the cones ![Fruit](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/fruit.gif)
ZING!!
I'm just not too particularly fond of each spoke being a double spoke like that. I thnk that same exact wheel with solid 5 spokes instead of a double 5 spoke would lokk 11ty times better.
Just my .02 though.
got a link to them on tire rack?

As I explore ways to purchase these wheels while they're on sale. . . what does everyone do with their insurance when you're storing your 8 for the winter months? I email progressive because I know my 6 month premium is due soon. I know I can't drop the coverage, but there has to be some sort of setting where you're not paying full price.

Also, if you are 1,000,000% sure that it will not get damaged then raise the deductable on it as high as you can. Only do this though if it is going to be stored in a garage that also has insurance (ex: homeowners insurance) That way if something happens it will be covered under that.
If you are going to keep it at your work I would be very carful with raising the deductable...
Also, you can change your policy after renewal... Mine renews on the 13 of September, and you bet your *** when I store the 8 for the winter I'm calling progressive and raising the hell out of the deductable and dropping as much bodily injury that I can...
