Black05Turbo8- We were in the back of the building with a radio on so we wouldn't have heard any banging upfront.
Plus it probably blended into the banging sounds of 4 RX8s being worked on together.
Funny part about that was every 8 was being worked on... and none of them were being worked on by the actual owner.
Yulia and I left early because of my gimp finger and I wasn't really dressed to work on cars (but I couldn't help it anyway).

Pretty successful RX8 weekend all the way around.
I got my Front and Rear sway bars and endlinks installed and my stainless brake likes put on.
Brian got his intake and coils installed.
Jon got a new starter installed.
And the Doner got stage 2 front-end weight reduction done.
Jon - After you left Brian had me run my car and pinpointed the gasket where the coolant feeds into the engine block as being the source of my leak. You know, that gasket we kind of sort of bent up a little when doing the SSV? I'll get in there with a little liquid gasket and re-install.
Autocross was a blast... thanks again all who helped me out with my car this past weekend too. Even though Megan, I'm still mad at you.
I'll get under the car and see if I can save the undertray from the cone damage. And I think I'm going to just throw away the underwear I had on when I almost hit the pole. It was pretty close to being really bad.

Funny story...
I was showing Yulia how to change brake pads on her Mazda3 yesterday.
She did all the pads by herself (though I had to help retract the rear caliper piston because it was a PITA).
Anyway, she looked at one of her taillights and saw a hole about midway up the face of the lens and offset towards the outside of the car.
She asked me, "Did they do that because of the condensation issues you guys have on your cars?"
I really didn't know what to say to her and just laughed.
I looked at both taillights and saw that they were "drilled" cleanly and evenly between the two taillights.

^ yeah, I think i Need a cat and big metal glove... Or I'll just the power glove from my old NES.
Jon - I just told Gopherage to do this to his tail lights as they're filling with water also. And I need to do this to mine (better) and the doner's... Have a drill I can borrow? I was going to use the saw you let me borrow. LOL

Dude, there is a HUGE machine shop immediately on the other side of the wall to your bay. There has to be a drill in there. haha
Speaking of which, did you ever put that pry bar back?

yup... i sorted through the trash after you and meg left. Pile for wire, into the trash hopper for the plastic, and a pile of metal/parts I think are metal.
Bay got cleaned and swept and some oil dry put down on the all the fluids leaking out. Both of my car and the doner.
I'll do some work on it this week. I'm hoping to get the rear wheels and suspension off, then maybe do the rear calipers if I'm feeling saucy.

umm... sort of. I know we got it stuck once when I tried to do it.
I just figure it will take me about twice as long to figure it out... I paid attention to the fronts last time... relieve pressue on bushings, disconnect coil over from car... push down on control arms, and tetris the little guy outta there.
