I never signed up to work on brakes... Especially a Ford product.

John I would be more concered over the fact you lost brake pressure and the brakes went out over the fact that the pedal is squishy now. When is the last time you did a fluid flush? Does the reservior have fluid in it?

I dont' have an issue looking into it after I **** up docs car, that's not a problem.

I lost pressure because the nut went past the flare of the brake line and I shot my load all over 90. They reflared the end, refilled the brake fluid and supposedly bled the line...I just think they didn't do the passenger rear.

Hey all, So my car has been idling a little rough and is down on pick up so I put the scanner on and I have a cylinder 2 misfire...0302 code.

CEL came on (flashed for like 4 seconds the shut off) on the highway when I was reving it hard.
Plugs replaced in August.
Coils Replaced year and a half ago.
Had less than a 1/2 tank of gas for a few days (Shell 93 octane)

Gonna check to see if anything is loose after it cool off.

Any ideas beyond the obvious?

Happy Weekend!

Verifying the ignition wires didn't come loose is a good start since the plugs and coils were replaced recently.
Another common thing to look at is the battery connections.
Make sure they are tight and secured.

Thx jon I got it fixed. I think it was just a loose plug wire but I cleaned off the battery terminals. The code reader has paid for it self for the third time now.

I had ordered a battery tender for a buddy of mine and he no longer needs it. It is the same one that Doc and steve have. If anyone is interested we are trying to unload it. $22 is the price and I will have it with me tomorrow if anyone is interested.

We got the front sway in and all 4 coilovers. We've got some work to do and some questions about ride height adjustments. But we got it all on.

Deer Meat?

I went hunting in the Bronco yesterday, but the little guy had enough sense to jump out of the way.

Sounds like I missed a fun time. The red racer is slammed no doubt now!

It's about 1" ish lower in the front. The rears, for some unknown reason, are still at stock ride height. I'm looking in to why this may be happening...

Mark,

I just got of the phone with KW Automotive. They sent me out a tech sheet to fill out all the part numbers and measurements for the vehicle to make sure we have all the correct parts on the car and to help diagnose what may be the potential problem with the rears.

What is your schedule looking like for maybe wednesday me swinging by and looking over the car to get the part numbers for all the components and taking a few measurements? That way I can fill out all the info and scan the document and send it out to the guy so he can verify what was received and installed on the car.

Cool cool. I dont' get off until 5pm, so if I leave straight from work I can probably be there by 6:30 at the latest. If that's ok then I will plan for that.

I would offer to do it sooner but Wednesday is the only day of the week I am free.

You could also try and describe the light if you like.

I bet its the "temple of doom light". Or the TPMS light. both because of the recent cold temps.
