I'm going to make an attempt to get some by potentially using something to my advantage, but I can't make any guarantees or promises that it will pan out.
I'm am going to try though. More on this later.

FYI on the Front License Plate Question
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the front license plate enforcement up here in Cleveland. I got pulled over and ticketed this morning for not having a front plate mounted (no other violations like speeding, etc.). The fine, for those of you in the Cleveland area, is $175.00.
sigh.
I know a lot of people run without front plates (which was my intention, too--just got the car registered LAST WEEK), but I'm mounting my front plate tonight. Stupid Ohio law.

That's crazy! I just had this conversation with my friend last night because he had to do a breathalizer and got a $150 ticket in Lakewood for not having his plate on the front of his car. He had it in the front windshield like mine, therefore I think i will be making a custom mounting bracket cause I don't like the stock location. Not worth the money and a DUI!

You know, even my dealer (Montrose) was like "oh, don't worry too much about it," and I hate the way it looks with the plate on it, but I can't pay $175 every time I turn around for something so stupid.
I hope your luck holds.

Scary stuff I don't have a front plate on I have mine stuck in my window because I figured it would make it hard to ticket when it technically is in the front. I actually have a legitimate excuse too where my front bracket got broken when i was rear ended and pushed into the car in front of me. (I just never bother to have it fixed.)

Haha ohhhh Steve sorry you can't make money off me on this one. Because i technically have a replacement bracket already just haven't bothered to put it on. Partially because the grill is cracked, also i'm lazy, and more importantly it looks better without.

The font plate law in Ohio is retarded. We are one of only a few states left enforcing it. I had originally taken mine off but once I went with the illegal tint I put it back on because I didn't want to push it. I really hate the evo relocation. I have seen it on a couple 8's in person and it really looks like ****. On top of looking off centered and wonky...it also blocks part of the oil cooler and that just ain't cool on an 8.
The one front plate relocation that I saw, at the VW meet at the headlands that we crashed, I really liked though. They put the plate behind the front grill. It would mean that you would have to punch out a bunch of squares on our front grill but it may be damn worth it.
I also did see someone put a folded plate in the front lower duct centered...but I think it would take too much air away from the radiator.

My friend that runs his plate folded is only attached at the top which at speed keeps it out of the air flow of the radiator yet is there when the cop asks about it then he feels dumb but it was on a 2nd gen eclipse...not sure how this is possible on an 8 yet without too much work
