Brian is probably the only one that was there for "the incident". I know that I got the call on my way down that we were moving and I know Marlon showed up afterward. I do know that this was a regular stop for the c6c folk and this is the first time that they have ever been denied entrance. Poor Brian is probably still driving home so I will see if he posts the details tomorrow. If not you can have them third hand...I just don't want to screw it all up. I can say though that about 15 people have the general managers phone number. *evul shrug*

Didn't drive home alst night, crashed at the girlfriends. The ride to work this morning sucked *****. Slept in late, got out of her house late, and managed to get stuck in the 6:30am 480 traffic..... I hate people sometimes

As for the details last night....

Basically one person in the group was 20. For some reason Winking Lizard decided to enforce a policy that states "No persons uder 21 admitted after 5:00pm unless with parent or legal guardian"

Well, this didn'dt bode well with her, nor another person in our party. I arrived at the around the time of both of the women cursing out the Manager of the store. The words exchanged were, well, definately on George Carlins list of 7 words you can't say on TV. At that point neither were allowed in and we had to go find another place to drink/eat.

And that's about the jist of it

Since you know the youngling :P better than I... I thought I heard someone last night say that she was actually in the Lizard already and left to get the cake and when she re-entered and ask that the cake go into a fridge she got carded.

BTW...What city is it that you work in?

I didn't get all the exact details, but I think you are right. She was in, then got carded upon re-entry with the cake. I'll have to ask her later

As for the city, it's not really a city persay, but I work out in Columbiana. If you don't know whre that's at it's about 10 minutes west of Salem, maybe 30ish minutes from Mountaineer. About 15 - 20 minutes south of Youngstown.

Yeah, but I'm use to leaving there around 5:30/5:45 in the morning when there isn't any traffic out on the road. In that short hour traffic literally multiplied itself at least 5 times over.

Nice meeting the 6 folks. As long as people keep having meets in Independence, Broadview Hts., or Brecksville I'll keep showing up.

My exhaust came into the RX7 store today. Looks like my noise bling will all be in place by next weekend. Now I'm definitely going to the school at Mid-Ohio on the 12/13th.

You just have to know where to park in Lakewood to keep your mirrors safe. :P Then again...if they take out your mirrors you can claim your puddle lights on your insurance...get new mirrors...and never replace the stupid puddle lights. :P

Last night was at the Winking Lizard in Independence. However...I am sure tiresmoker has been parking over there more than once. He has a Black Cherry Mica Shinka.

When we meet at the Lakewood Lizard, we do park in the lot across from the Old Giant Eagle, so mirrors are not a concern at all. When we have our Tour in One Night for Charles Espenlaub, we will have the employee section of their employee parking lot.

So we have it covered.

I am impressed with it overall, and the 500MB per week limit shouldn't affect me (which is the only "draw-back" I've noticed so far)

Woah. Had a big sighting yesterday that deserves mention.

I saw a Nordic Green (I think... coulda been Black ) travelling North on rt. 21 somewhere between BFI and BFE... Maybe a little north of Clinton. Around 3 o'clock.

What makes this one special? He had a wing on the back of it that looked like he could take off at any minute and fly the rest of the way. I couldn't tell what kind of wing but it was probably close to a Veilside. Didn't look like there was a kit but the sb/nb highways are a ways apart so I couldn't get a great look at the car. But I couldn't miss that spoiler.

No idea who that was but I spotted him/her.

I hate it when people think that installing a "park bench" is going to help at their "highway" speed.
They don't take into consideration the drag it produces and actually slows the vehicle down. Don't ruin an RX8 with that crap.
Then I REALLY hate to see front-wheel drive vehicles with spoilers in the back

Either you're breaking really hard, turning hard to the right, or you just raised the back of your car in prep to put on some big wheels and get into drag racing...



Are those stock rims or your powder coated gunmetal ones? Looks back to stock. And I don't remember the strakes and chrome/satin aluminum gas door. You decorating your racer as well? Strakes add 5 HP and the smooth cover gives you +1 second in the AC.

HARD breaking. Actually turning to left though. Right turn would push weight to left. Good job noticing the weight transfer to the front!

Some minor decorations to the car spice it up just a little. Remember, it's more important to look good, than to be good. I wasn't aware of the horsepower improvement from the additions. Thanks for pointing that out.

Stock rims for A-Compound tires. I tore up one of the street tires I was on with the black powercoat rims. It's race tires all the way from here on out.

First time I wasn't last place. I was happy. Newbie is getting better. Beat a couple of people with much more experience than me, including one who was posting smack here..... ..... so I'm definitely getting better. That's a good feeling.

I haven't seen John's pictures yet, but I thought this one was awsome. It's now my desktop on my computer.

I gotta learn to push harder through the turns, though. Zoom-Zoom.
