tj: you should be able to jump start it if it's only cranking too weak. One would assume your battery is about done from sitting and not being recharged from the car not starting.

I would try the deflood again with a charged battery before you flat bed it back to Cleveland .

I agree with Steve.
Starting to think I'll be taking another road trip this week
Starter fluid would work better than washer fluid.

I've already told you pull/tow start is the easiest way to start a flooded engine.
Or grab some friends to push the car to an incline and dump the clutch.
You know if you have this car "carried" home again you'll have another talk with your parents on getting rid of the 8.
How bad do you really want to keep this car?

Boy, that photo is very very determined to let you know that you need some clear corners.

Friends don't let friends put clear corners on their RX-8. But year, I lol'd at the excessive glow of the amber corner.

Its still really cool to have your car in the show.

I'll be up there Friday night and then back with the group on Saturday, so if you're around on Friday evening, I'll be there.

How was the show this year? Jamie said it was kinda blah... but with Kristen looking at reasonably priced hatchbacks, I think there will be more than enough to look at.

Cool! The show is smaller for sure. No major selection of BMWs, obviously no Pontiac this year, no high-end imports, ferrari, Rolls Royce, etc. For the hatchback search you may be in luck at least. It's enough to walk around and enjoy yourself if you have beer in hand

Damn. Didn't make it onto that side of the show so I missed your car. Looks very nice all stickered up. Gotta add at least 30 ponies with all those.

Sold my wheels/tires to Jtaylor. You haven't seen anything quite as funny as someone trying to stuff a set of 18/275s and 3 people into a freaking Probe. I lol'd the moment I saw him pull up at the autoshow. Can't believe I didn't get a phone pic.

There was one Ferrari over in the customize section near the Nissan tent city. The Lotus (Loti?) looked incredible. I think I scratched the paintwork on the Evora when I started dry humping it. Awkward moment.

Anytime BMW puts more Mini's in their area than BMWs you know the economy is struggling.

The guy from PA that bought the Driver side doors off the donor said he was coming in a Subaru... I assumed a hatch or outback or something... Nope. 2.5RS Sedan with 2 other people.

He had measured and it did fit, but the curvature of the door was greater than he anticipated.

Knowing me, If I would have loaded it for him, I would have broken multiple windows and scratched both doors.

Good news on the sale though!

If you have it, I"ll take it. (Do we really need that anyway) The superior technician that was wiring the camera in my car this weekend broke mine.

Aren't all fails?

But not a rear view fail and just a photochop fail. Euros still drive on the wrong side of the road so it just looked wrong.

At least he didn't paint his stock calipers red or his fender vents silver :p
