I've already told you pull/tow start is the easiest way to start a flooded engine.
Or grab some friends to push the car to an incline and dump the clutch.
You know if you have this car "carried" home again you'll have another talk with your parents on getting rid of the 8.
How bad do you really want to keep this car?

and as for pushing it, we tried but theres ice all around the car and it wouldnt break loose, idk if you guys have this happen to you but if the car sits for a while and it rains or something before the car moves you have to like break it loose like the axles or rotors or something are just stuck so pushing it is pretty much impossible as of now.
but tonight around 2 am were gonna get an extra mattress and put em between my back bumper and my friends front and the he's just gonna push it till it breaks loose. then we might just try and push it down the hill..
im nervous though because the hill that were gona push it down is steep enough that we will never be able to get it back up if it doesnt start so ill be screwed cuz i cant park down there.

Steve: You still repainted the replacement ones. So, there is a little ricer in you. Calipers shouldn't be red unless they are Brembo. Period.
Fricken ricer.
Brake pads are frozen to the rotors....
This is why you don't set your e-brake in the snow/rain/sub freezing temperatures...

Damn. Didn't make it onto that side of the show so I missed your car. Looks very nice all stickered up. Gotta add at least 30 ponies with all those.
Sold my wheels/tires to Jtaylor. You haven't seen anything quite as funny as someone trying to stuff a set of 18/275s and 3 people into a freaking Probe. I lol'd the moment I saw him pull up at the autoshow. Can't believe I didn't get a phone pic.

Hahaha don't hate! I've got crazy packing skills and a sweet window scraper to keep my trunk cover off of my head while I drive...

I actually took that picture on Sunday when I was working the booth. I positioned cones underneath to make it look like I missed the gate and ran them down, but at some point they were repositioned. I had one stuffed under the front lip and bent over, but they moved it. Must have thought I was hurting it.

There are a lot less aftermarket parts designed for the SeriesII RX8. I also sat in an R3 during one of my trips to the dealer. I will admit that I am not the smallest of guys...however...my back was too wide for the seat making it impossible to drive. If all the TSBs have been done you should have nothing to worry about.

Basically if your going for the R3 definitely sit in one and drive it before you buy it. Maybe it will be the perfect fit for you....it has to fit someone.

You don't want to mod the car... So why get an R3? I mean, 19inch wheels, race seats, some suspension mods I don't know off the top of my head, and a 4 point front strut bar...
All stuff that you could add to your current rx8. And the updated series 2 doesn't have so many issues corrected that would outway the losses of trading in your current 8 and getting a new one.
But I'm also cheap as hell with out much disposable income.
Just my thoughts.
