^^^I'm about 98.627% sure that the shrouds went with the rear bumper when he sold it. The last time I was down there (2 weeks ago?) I didn't see them in the leftover parts he still has for the donor.

Tore the wheel liner out again with a cone this weekend. This time, it tore the loops in the bumper cover that it attaches to completely off in several places. If anybody sees a bumper cover or the passenger exhaust shroud for sale, please let me know.

For anyone who wants to protest, I had to use zip ties to hold the liner on. I'm sure that's illegal somehow........

I wouldn't protest your zip ties. I'd sooner protest your illegal clutch pedal bracket.

Doc, you mean you want to replace the whole bumper because the loops are torn off? OR the loops on the wheel liner are torn off?

I have a wheel liner (or both, not sure) from the donor that were able to be reshaped a bit if you want them.

The loops are torn off the black piece at the bottom of the bumper cover. There is also a loop torn off the bumper cover itself. I assume that black piece attaches to the bumper cover somehow and I can just replace that.

I'll probably take the wheel liners from you if you have them I seem to go thru them alot...............

I'll put them with your care package that includes your fuel pump removal tool and that glove box damper.

I bought the bumper as one whole piece. However the exhaust shroud on my old bumper is only slightly scuffed. Well one side is slightly cracked and the other side is scuffed. I still have it if you would like it Doc. I don't know if that is an improvement or not over your current situation.

There's going to be quire a few folks meeting up at the 18-71 McDonald's. Chris from NEPOC brought his MSM in for this and is crashing with me in Strongsville. The time is still still under discussion, but it's going to be along the lines of what you mentioned, John. There should be a post-up on the 247 forum later today re the exact time.

http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showt...774073&page=10

Jtaylor, if that's inconvenient we could always ring you up on your cell when we're approaching the 83 exit and you could hook up with us on the fly. PM me if you want to exchange cell numbers.

There will be a few of us down there today as well.

My stereo problems continue. The LED display goes nuts with just a bunch of jibberish, and then none of the buttons work, including the A/C button. I take the unit apart detatch/reatatch the face (as instructed by DeVilBoi) and it works for about a day then goes nuts again. It gets really messed up when its hot out (or its a big coincedence). No warranty for me (yr: 2004). Even when the problem appears to go away, there is still a 2 second lag from when I adjust the volume **** and when numerical volume level on the LED actually changes. Thread below had a couple theories: Lead free solder or bent pin

identical problem:
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ght=radio+face

Could someone please recommend the next step? Dealership? Replace radio?

Radio is the 6 disc bose.
