My worst nightmare occurred today....I drove through white street line paint on the way to work and did not notice until now! FML it is dried hard and impossible to get off. Any ideas?
Trust me, you're wrong

Plastic razor blade and claybar if it is thick.
Claybar if it is thin.
WD40 if you have big *****.
Make sure to thouroughly wax the areas after it it cleaned off regardless of what method you use.

Well, I have been slammed all the sudden at work and trying to price out some cars. Right now the front runner is Mazda3 GT Hatch because of the 0% financing and a few other factors.
However, that puts me in position to properly replace the "fun car" in my fleet with a Miata before the snow flies. So, those wheels are finally in motion.
Lastly, is the meet still going for Friday the 20th at boneyard? I may be showing off my new station wagon by then.

Wanted to start off by saying thanks to those who helped out Saturday with my tranny swap.
Especially thanks to Brian and Megan for loaning the driveway, the many hours of their time, and a place to sleep since it was late at night.
Good to actually see John under the car for more than a couple minutes and getting his hands dirty![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I replaced the pilot bearing and oil seal, which was a good thing because the needles were rough and 10% of the seal was missing.
I kept the donor's release bearing since it felt good and installed my HD (heavy duty) release bearing from BHR.
Also noticed my tranny's drain plug looked like a porcupine... it was pretty bad.
We had a "TJ#Steve" moment with the clutch line.
After numerous times bleeding the clutch line, we couldn't get the tranny into gear with the car running.
It was late, Brian was drunk, and we were all sore... so we decided to sleep on it.
Of course when we woke up I adjusted the clutch pedal to spec (which I did the night before) and it worked just fine!
We were all happy because our bodies weren't in the mood to drop the tranny a 2nd time.
But it reminded us when Tim had this problem and after a week he reported the clutch "fixed itself"... which we joked about for awhile!
I was going to make a video DIY on this, but my HD camcorder wouldn't work.
I plugged in the power cord and the 'charging' indicator light wouldn't come on and the camera wouldn't power up.
I tested the voltage on the battery and it had 0.004VDC... basically dead.
Removed the battery and tried powering it on... but that didn't work.
Starting to think this battery is in series with the circuit where the camera won't turn on without the battery pack installed.
Which would make sense since the camera's spring-loaded contacts are easily exposed with the pack removed.
Its past the 12month warranty period (just barely) so no luck there.
Ended up buying a battery pack for $25... hopefully this is all it was.
My Gigabyte motherboard was sent out Friday and should arrive there Thursday.
Man... this isn't a good summer for me with electronics...
