I think they just tend to sieze for some reason...it happened to me this spring. Steady diet of PB Blaster for four or five days did the deed!!!
Also, if you do have to drill them out, they are not real expensive... 'bout 10 bucks a side i believe. I had to replace one a few years ago after some dinglewit decided to use a 5 foot breaker bar on it and snapped the head of the bolt off.
Good luck

Danny,
I'll be at Megans that night so I'll be in Cleveland. Plus, I'm not going to take the turnpike out to Norwalk, I'm gonna hop on 480 from her house to 20, 20 to 601, 601 to 18 for the gate. I don't know what time I have to be there though as we (NORA) is helping run the autocross portion of the event for them. When I find out what time I have to be there I will let you know.

You're alive!!!! Lol :P missed ya at autox Sunday buddy. No miata should ever be more important than racing :P
I thought I drove **** but I've been comparing times with drivers from other events and I actually did good. I was thrown off by Steve's phenomenal times. I was working the course when he drove and he really drove amazing. Would have loved to see another s2k there though to compare against.
I had massive understeer all day which I think is because of too high air pressure in my tires up front. Andrew helped me between my runs and lowering my psi gave me a lot of benefit but I think I can go lower still.
For the first time I actually felt like I was driving the car on the limit whereas before I thought the car could do better. My best run (at least it felt the best) I spun out ¾ into the run.

Also, given that the event is Saturday, we'll have to find yet another time for you to drop off your ricer wing.
Thanks, I got to ride that high until the good drivers demolished my times in the afternoon.

Well if you'd like to I can come to your place Saturday morning, drop off the wing and we can drive together to norwalk? 224 W is a lot of traffic lights though but should be ok on a Saturday morning.

P.S. you were only 4 seconds off of FTD. That's a good day no matter how you look at it. I had to run in that group lol! Kinda depressing when you hear 71,70,68,69 and then 82 for my time :/ the only one that I was near was the green camaro of Jeff 3 ESP who ran 80's in afternoon group.

I would, but tenative plans for me this weekend involve going to BeaveRun to run with SCR on Saturday and NORA on Sunday. I don't want to drive all over the place. So, I shall pass. Have fun though.

I have a P0037 CEL, so I'm fairly sure I need to replace the post cat O2 sensor again. I replaced it before about 1.5 - 2 years ago. I'm sure I bought the least expensive one I could find. Therefore, am I a victim of "I get what I paid for" or could there be something else that is causing this part to fail? I can get a pic of it if that is helpful.
2004 - 65K - no mods. Does seem to be idling rougher lately as I can feel it more in the seat.

The rear O2 sensor isn't as critical (when it comes to brands) as the front one, so buying too "cheap" may not have been the problem.
Have you inspected the wiring the the sensor to ensure it didn't melt against the cat (its happened)?
Could try clearing the KAM (disconnect the battery for ~10min) and see if the code returns.

Thanks guys. I will check out the wiring, then try the reset. Really hoping its o2 related and not the cat. I've been really good about resisting upgrades. What would start as a cat replacement could turn into a whole exhaust system. Is that considered a "gateway mod"?
Anyways I still have a set of mazdaspeed side skirts that are free to a good home. The previous seller claimed they are authentic. All I know is they are in pretty bad shape. A previous owner drilled holes in them, and I believe they were painted yellow then red. I noticed this when I went to take off the decals and took all the paint off too. They will need alot of work (west akron)
