On a different note, my birthday is on March 27th and I was thinking of celebrating it this year with a bbq or something. There's a big parking lot by my building and we'd could have a bbq or something if it's nice. There's a couple bars in walking distance and there will be bunch of hot girls with daddy issues that work with my wife in the restaurant. So you guys are all invited to come hang out and have fun. Figured I'd make a meet out of it.

car meets
hey guy im new to rx8 club and i got an 8 about 3 mouths ago and i was wondering if you guy do any car meet and when the next one might be. im in Cincinnati right next to kings island so let me know.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if one of your guys' meets syncs up with a family visit this summer. I grew up that way near Warren and my parents still live there. The 8 just doesn't make it up that often because of the dog. He can't get comfy and paces around in the back for the whole 4+ hour trip.

Hey guys... I'm getting a serious case of Cabin fever. I feel like all I do is Work and Ref Hockey and browse the internet for car parts I can't afford.
That and watch the price of star specs climb to unreasonable levels.
Anyway, is there any interest in getting together soon?
I was thinking Friday, Feb 24th? Or is that too short notice?

Sounds like we got a meet!
Friday: 3/2/12 around 6-7 PM. I think Boneyard has been the best/easiest venue. So let's just have it there.

Any chance I can borrow your coil spring compressor at the meet for a week or so? I'm taking 3/9 and 3/10 to work on my car, so I won't need it after then (assuming everything goes well)

I actually have two different kinds of compressors. The individual ones that basically have a two hooks on a threaded bar, and the monster contraption that looks like an oversized staple remover. You are free to use either if you need them.
I'm assuming you need them to re-use your stock top hats?
BTW I plan on being at the meet. Probably with my bitch in tow.
