Congrats on the new car. Which BMW did you go with? Aftermarket plans for it?
Also, what was the reason for selling the 8? It seemed like you really enjoyed it.

I would let them go for $1000 picked up
I got a 2010 BMW 135i Black with coral interior, I already ordered a JB4 (piggyback tune) and dual cone intake. I plan on adding a bigger intercooler and some catless downpipes. Of course there are other cosmetic mods to be made, but too many to list. Haha As far as selling the RX-8, it was at 79k miles so it was a good time to get out of it and I really wanted something with more power. I do miss the handling with those 275's on all corners and that sweet short shifter, but this BMW is a beast on the highway. ![Bowdown](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
The catback has 8k on it and the mid-pipe has about 5k price is $350 picked up

I haven't seen anyone in a long time. Any interest in getting a meet together? Get some of the new guys out also?
Maybe Friday, July 26th? Any interest in something like that?
My brother has an '08 135i and they are great little cars. It was the first car I drove with hill start assist, that is a very cool feature. Torque is very fun also, but the looks of the 1 series are pretty polarizing. Not nearly as outwardly sexy as the 8, or many other cars in my opinion.

But I'm up for going out for some beers July 26th to catch up on life events, even if interest is low.

Most places up North there are about an hour from me... so I don't care really. If there is a place in "the boro" that you want to hit up Jon, I'm fine with that.
I'm still bummed out I missed that Sushi meet a few years ago where Doc's kids ate his wallet empty.

Today I got to spend some quality time with the H2 trying to figure out why my battery drains quickly.
Found that with everything off (and key removed), I was drawing 2.2A!
The draw was coming from the radio circuit. With that fuse removed, the draw dropped down to 25mA.
Since the radio is always hot/live, I was just going to wire it to the ignition relay and be done with it.
When I lifted the fuse panel, I was shocked by what was revealed:

Several wires were exposed, but none of the strands were broken.
So I had to pick off the melted insulation to find all the wires that were exposed and tape them.
And I still need to replace the exhaust manifolds before winter since its leaking from there.

Jon... that's a mess. you're lucky nothing dripped or leaked onto that frying everything.
as for a meet, I'm all for it. i'm claiming that weekend as mine and going to do as i please with it. so if we're up for something, count me in.
Still the Tilted Kilt should be the default place to go: girls, beers, cars (not set in any order of importance).

As for the meet I am definitely down for where ever.

Just a quick reminder for Dinner in Streetsboro this Friday - 6.30ish start time at stringz and wingz.
Hoping its not just 3 of us, but I'm coming regardless. Too bad I'll have the truck and an empty trailer and nothing exciting.

I will be coming home from MidOhio, but trying to get to Streetsboro, get kids and load trailer again is a bit much.
Enjoy

Not at boneyard.
Yup... we're leaving at like 4 to get up there. 1 less night of hotel enables us to get a hotel for Wilmington next weekend.
