I actually hate the Boneyard over here. Too damn loud and too damn many kids. Im not really a fan of the Cheesecake Factory. We do keep going up to Claddagh over at Legacy which has been nice. There is also a nice Italian place over at Beachwood that supposedly has great food. Im open to a lot...hell I was considering going to Michigan with the TU guys for a spirited cruise. The distance doesn't bother me...it is the atmosphere.

I grew up in Bath so I've got the Montrose/Fairlawn scene down pat. I still know a good chunk of the bartending population.

There's a Cleats in Fairlawn Shopping Center that would be ideal if we were going that far. Good balance of bar/restaurant and relatively cheap. Populated enough that it's busy but not so much that we can't get seated. And they have a huge parking lot.

In Montrose proper (rt 18 & 77) there's a TGI Fridays up the hill on Montrose West, Brubakers pub which is probably too small and is just a bar, or there's On Tap which is pretty good in terms of size and parking space but unfortunately has a tendency to have a lot of nights of kareokeing which can lead to serious mental illness. There's a few other TGI Friday like places in Montrose as well. There's a Max & Erma's too that would probably be good for us. A decent bar and plenty of space.

I dated a gal down there for a couple of years. That area has a lot of stuff that we can enjoy. Lots of places for photo ops too. We do need to find some place to get some nice group picts

I keep wanting to go to Claddagh. Heard it's really good.

As for Cleats at the Fairlawn, i'd just as soon as burn it down and roast marshmallows over the embers... at least those would taste good. Had terrible service there last time i was there and the food was worse.

Rather surprised and impressed with you guys digging sushi! That rocks! There's a Sushi Rock up at Legacy Village as well. That place is a lot of fun. Has more than jsut sushi as well for those of you who aren't big on raw fish.

Great! Thanks for asking. The weeks are turning into just a blur as time is flying by. Someday I'm gonna wake up and it'll all be over.

Once again the car's been sitting in the driveway undriven for quite some time. It's covered in bird poop and saw dust as I had to tackle the garage roof over the past few days.

I really wanted to do one more autoX before the car's put away for the winter, but I just didn't have the time.

I'd be up for a night out as long as it's before Nov. 1st. I have to work on fridays until about 8.

BTW,

I miss you too, Ryan.

It's actually up the street a bit from Legacy in Beechwood Place. My daughter works there . . . if there's truly interest I can ask her about the possibility of a group discount or something along those lines.

And DB, they do have a normal menu as well for land lubbers.

wasn't going to nit-pick the exact details of location. lol

but a group disc would be cool and ya, they have food for those who don't dig eating bait.

I think we had 12 at the Lizard the other day. Probably going with reserving 15 might be safer.

I think you're the only one who didn't like it so I don't think anyone else is going to tweek it.

Put me down as a 'maybe' for the 7th. Like I said before if the car is already in winter storage it'll take a lot to get me to something where all I do is think about my car. And I hate Sushi so that ain't a lot.

You can get something besides shark chum there so no worries. As for storage, i am betting the weather will still be nice enough (read as Not snowing just yet) to take the 8 out.

Definitely count the wife and i in, as we both love sushi. Steve's "nom nom nom" couldn't have been more fitting, LOL.
