Any 8's in the Albany Capital Region?

Just want to see if there are any 8's in my local area. I have seen just a few in the past few weeks. Black one in Delmar and Silver on 787 going south bound last week. Anyone out there?

Me! I go to the University at Albany. I'm a TiGray 8 usually just around central/western/washington/madison and the like. Occasionally I'm on 787 when I head over to RPI.

I also have a Titanium Gray 8. Sport package, rear spoiler. Just got it Monday. Love it. What do you do as far as tires in the winter up here?

This will be my first winter here. I plan on not driving too much when it's bad, but I will be buying another set of stock rims and probably a set of blizzaks or other comparable snow tires.

I have no choice but to drive, I work in Saratoga Springs and live in Delmar. I think I am going to get a set of ALL-SEASON tires. Sell my stock tires.

I have heard the all seasons are not the best idea for winter. While they may get you around, pure winter tires are much safer. I would consult the wheel and tire forum, ask people who live in snowy areas. I think I'll be buying rims in the coming month and tires shortly thereafter. Whatever you decied to do, be safe driving aroudn this winter. If there is anyone else in the Albany area, we should set up a Capital region meet or something. :D

I have been waiting to see if anyone else is around this area, no more response. I know there are a few more 8s in the area, but I guess none of them love there cars enough to get on a bulletin board. Oh well. I am still going with the ALL SEASON tires. Avon Tech makes a sweet ultra high perf tire, and they are not that expensive. Going to post my stock Potenzas on here see if I get any takers.

hey another titanium 8 owner in the albany region. Also going to university at albany. I have seen another red 8 with chrome rims and silver one that is usually parked around campus. Never seen another titanium though. I actually never drove my car in the winter, so i do not have anything to offer on winter tires. I still had my old car to use.

Aoshi, Im always driving the same streets and still never seen a TiGray.

yeah, I have yet to see another Ti Gray around. I am mostly in Delmar, when I go to work I am on 787 then the northway. Saw a VR one today on RT. 32 in Delmar. He flashed his lights as I did the same.

I bought my RX-8 from Cooley's over in Defreestville about a month ago. While I live about 90 minutes south, I'm still up there from time to time visiting relatives or something.
