If i may make take a swing at this, what do you guys think about a meet up by Niagara Falls or even Niagara on the lake. There are some really nice areas to snap some shots. Not sure how many guys you have out in Rochester, but I think it will be worth the drive. I know I have two buddy's with rx8's that would be in also a couple mazdaspeed's

nice. you'll post some pictures as soon as it's done right? in the mean-time keep thinking warm thoughts and soon it will be spring. did you take a look at the Rochester rotary site that Rod posted earlier? you'll have to sign up so we can all stay in touch there - and you'll be able to see when the meets are.

I would be up for a meet this summer. I'm doing some work to the 8 now, so it will be ready in a month.... This weather in Buffalo sucks right now. What dealership do you guys in the Buffalo area use? I have been to Northown on sheridan and Towne on southwestern. My engine was replaced at Northtown after months of problems this past summer.

northtown sucks........ took the ms6 to get looked at there because i am having issues and they could not figure out the problem. They then told me that the tires were the wrong size because thats the only thing they could find plus they make money off the tires...

But now that everything is going good with my car, I'm just wondering if I should go back to northtown in the spring for an oil change and such considering they have done all the work on my car before, and they know my history. I just wouldn;t want something happening to my car in the future, and then northtown would be dicks again because I switched to towne after they replaced my engine and everything.
The one thing about towne is their business is a lot slower than northtown, so you can just pull up and get an oil change, where as you would have to make a week appointment at northtown. I actually have a whole thread on here about what northtown did to me over the course of 2 months , when I re-read it, it made me laugh at how much sh*t i had to deal with them, and now the knowledge i have with this car currently, I wouldn't let that happen again.
BTW, James, what ever happened with your RX8? You sold it, and then that guy sold it a couple months later? I wonder where it is now.

See, the only reason i went to northtown was because it was closer than towne to me. They put me through the ropes for 2 months before replacing my engine. I was happy in the end with the new engine, but to me the vibe there was making money, and getting the next car in to get looked at, considering they are not just a mazda dealer. So instead of keeping my car and fixing all the problems, they just kept sending me home until I came back with my car on a tow truck. They made me take off all the aftermarket parts on my 8 before i could get anywhere with them, including my exhaust lol.

lol @ spense....So do you deal with the mazda/kia section? I'm not bashing you guys over there, like I said, they did get my car running great.... I was just upset with the fact that they treated me like an 80 year old woman that new nothing about cars. They tried blaming certain minor things on my car Aka: exhaust, for the fact that my car had low compression??? I just started getting pissed until after 2 months and 10 visits, they finally said Ok you were right the whole time, your engine is f*cked. I know Drew over there, He replaced my engine, and ironically knows my family through his girlfriend, which I found out later on...
