Anyone near Richmond, VA willing to let me test drive?
Hi everyone, I'm currently looking to get an RX8, but I've never driven one. It's a car I've been interested in since I was a teenager, and I'm currently in a position to go for it. However, I've never actually driven one, and there are none for sale within 160 miles of me. I don't want to make the long drive to get one unless I'm sure I will want to pull the trigger.
Anyone near Richmond, VA who would be willing to let me take an RX8 for a gentle spin to see if it's really something I would be interested in? Would be willing to compensate you for your time and mileage. No intentions to drive it really hard, just want to get a feel for the car before committing thousands of dollars into one.

I wouldn't let a stranger drive mine but that's me.
I'm 62, owned and rented many cars and my '04 RX8 GT is the most enjoyable I've ever driven.
So much so that I just sank about $10K into it for a new engine and fixing up many of the issues a 20 year old car has.
Handles llike a dream, 50-50 weight displacement, excellent traction control, comfortable and quiet cabin.
I prefer the heated leather power seats in the GT and manual transmission is a must.
BUT, be sure to get a rotary specific compression test before purchase.
