Damn this brings back memories, I left there in 1995.

saw a titanium 8 today, right outside my apartment window in oakland. automatic, anybody's here?

 

I just joined the West Penn Rotary club at their last meeting. Nice bunch of folks. Only 2 of us have 8s, but they run the gamut on rotary power. I did sign up for the Rotary Revolution that Mich was talking about. It's looking to be a fun event.

I've had my 8 out every day for the past few weeks. We finally are getting some decent weather! Gotta keep washing her to keep up the shine. . .:D

 

I've seen an 8 parked on thackery at PITT, infact i've parked next to it on a few occasions. Is that you? i don't own an 8 myself, but i do own a VR FD. i'm there only on some weekends bc i visit my G/F who is a student at PITT.

I'm seeing more and more 8's in pittsburgh..and it makes me sad. i want ed to be the only one! so far i've seen 2 other black ones, a titanium on my *** a few days ago....and a crazy yellow one.

Mine is the black one that has nothing except leaking engine oil.

 

I've seen some more around too. I have titanium but i wasnt tailing a black 8 recently. I saw a red one on 279 heading into town last week.

Mine will be off the streets for a while though...went up on a curb and took out a little tree last night. Not good at all. Still waiting for the insurance company to call me back...

The bumper is cracked, hood dented, and roof dented....a moment of silence would be greatly appreciated. i spent a good part of the day just sitting in the garage looking at it, what a day

Got the estimate today 3868.96...guess thats what insurance is for. Mazda dealers had some trouble getting their hands on a new roof panel, they told my auto body guy that there was only one replacement roof skin in the entire United States!! Hopefully he was able to get his hands on it!

Well, I used to read this thread a lot to try and get you Pitt owners interested in hooking up with the RX7 owners for a caravan out to this year's Rotary Revolution. Except now it is gut-wrenching to think of you sitting in your garage staring at the carnage.

Sorry to hear about your mishap, please get the vehicle fixed asap. You've got me feeling so bad send me a PM and I'll give you a deal to get your newly fixed up 8 down to the event. We've already got 7 Pennsylvania rotary vehicles registered, and if you meet the Columbus caravan you'll ride in with what we expect to be 40 - 50 RX vehicles come event time.

Also, make sure you check out the west-penn rotary club right in Pittsburgh, many of those pennsylvania owners attending are from the club. Including Guy Huettel and his 2004 Red RX-8! :D

wow, if that was you that's a nice car you have. It looked completely stock (from the outside anyway) except I seem to recall a different exhaust maybe. My roommate and I walked past it at a traffic light turning onto Forbes ave. and he asked me what it was (excuse him, his parents own a pontiac grand prix and he thinks it's something).

Whats the total count up to for rx8s in pgh? We should have a meet sometime. Maybe take a drive thru schenley!

i dont want to show my car until i have my mods, but that's probably going to be in 16 years. by then i will have saved up enough money to buy one ms item.
