Car got keyed

Anybody know of any good paint shops in the Richmond, VA area?

Reason behind it is some a$$wipe keyed the hell out of my car last night and I found it this morning, all the way from the driverside door handle to the tail light. I knew this days wasn't going right when I woke up late for work, locked myself out of my apartment and then had the Pop-A-Lock guy screw up my locks (those have to be replaced now).

And for some reason, I have this feeling I know who did it. A few nights ago I had to go to my girlfriends apartment and as I was leaving the guy was towing people. I was next in line. I just walked by as he was hitching up to a Honda Fit. I got in but my girlfriend heard him say something and flicked him off. Then he yelled out "Thanks, I already took a picture of his license plate."

Anyway, insurance company says I can choose any shop or they can suggest some. I just want to see if anybody has any good or bad experiences in Richmond with paint shops in the area.

I think there is a Super Bruce's out that way, if not there is one in the Burg, from what I understand they do an amazing job.

Good luck.

My Black 95 Mercedes was keyed in my driveway, Hood, Front Pass Door, Rear Pass Door, Rear Qtr Panel. Someone didn't like me. Left a note said "I Win" But I don't really make enemies, I don't drive agressive. Whoever it was was lucky my alarm didn't go off tho, I tend to respond to strange noises in the night with my brightest flashlight... it just happens to be mounted to the front of my Glock 23.

Not just keyed, whomever scribbled on my car. Evil bastard.

That so sucks. I wish there was a feature where cars could somehow sense they're being keyed and emit a noxious gas that would make the assailant sterile. (Of course, there would be little window decals to warn in advance.)

I got an estimate over at Bruces Super Body Shop here in richmond and they quoted me $876. And now I feel like an idiot because I have a $1000 deductible. So I guess this is coming out of pocket.

I might try that place in Sandston. My girlfriend has family over in that area.

I know the feeling too. Whats up with people wanting to key 8's? Someone keyed the front of mine a few months ago, its still there unfortunately, along with the big ding in the passenger side door and the fresh new one on the drivers side from last night. I know who did that one along with several other small dints. Im waiting to move, then Im going to introduce my hammer to her car to pay her back for what she has done to mine.. Ok, not really but I wish I could.
