No one around today - stopped by at 7:00-7:15pm but then left to prep for volleyball.
ps. a bunch of 6's will be at Fuddruckers (Rt. 1/Rt. 18 corner New Brunswick) tomorrow Fri ~6pm for a monthly meet - last month we all ate 1lb. burgers, this month we're trying for 1lb. nachos :D

You know, I almost went to that Fuddruckers meet last month. 1) I love Fuddruckers, 2) car meets are always fun. I wish I would have known before today. I'm going down to the shore tonight.

Have fun at the shore. I also need to take a day off soon and head out to the beach myself, maybe Hamptons or Block Island

Won't be making it once again this week, and perhaps for a few more weeks to come. If you guys checked my last post in here, I think it's a couple pages deep now, you'll know I had to bring my car back to the dealer to have it serviced. Well, I just heard back from them today and they say it's going to be a month or so before I see my car again.
The problem was with the synchros in shifting to 5th or 6th gear, I don't know much more about it, so can't provide any further clarity, but I can suggest if you get an 09, you try very adamantly to not break them. The parts aren't manufactured or stocked in either the US or Canada yet, so they have to be shipped from Japan, meaning they have to go through customs. Wonderful. Not so coincidentally, they don't want to let me take my car until the part arrives, because Mazda international wants to send special technicians to have a look at it. Since this is what my dealer's service department described to me as a "rare and special occurrence" a representative from Mazda Japan will be flying over to look at my car, at which point they will ship my transmission back to Japan and have it looked at.
In the meantime, I continue my displeasure of driving a Jeep Liberty for my $370 a month lease payments, and paying the cost of insurance for a sports car. At least it has Sirius, I guess? I'm waiting for a call back from Mazda Customer Relations to get this straightened out.
