Clear corners legal in PA?
Yea, I know the logic about as long as they glow amber, they're fine... but...
I need proof (like a link to a PA web page, etc.) beyond "I read it somewhere on the RX-8 forum" or my wife won't let me buy 'em
Anyone ever stumble upon anything official for PA?

Quote:
"Identification, clearance and side marker lights.--Every motor vehicle, trailer and combination operated on a highway shall be equipped with a system of lights which may include retroreflective reflectors, identification, clearance and side marker lights in conformance with regulations of the department." PA Motor Vehicle Code (Title 75)
Im work in Jersey, but thats what I could find for PA. Hope that helps.

I agree it looks fantastic... but the wife wants Official, Notarized (in blood) Proof Of Legality before I can order them.
I've been searching around, but specific info eludes me thus far...

Just to close the thread, if anyone cares (lol), as best I can tell, clear corner markers are illegal in PA. Title 67, Chapter 153 addresses this (see attached pic).
Amber reflectors, as well as amber lights, are apparently required
Link is at http://www.dot.state.pa.us/, click on General Information, Links, Pennsylvania Code...

haha maybe they are illegal but no one ever bothers me about them and it did pass inspection so i guess it would depend on how bored a cop is and if they really wanted to pull you over for somthing that stupid lol. I have the stock clear lights still but I could have sworn if you got amber lights it would be legal.

" I don't think they care what the color of the lamp housing is so long as when the lamp is illuminated it's the proper color"
good point i agree with that and they deffinately make the car flow so much better.
any one around the pittsburgh area into racing...whether its SCCA or w.e. please let me know
