Colonial Mazda - Danbury, CT
Any of you CT guys have any info regarding Colonial Mazda in Danbury? They are my local dealer and who I will wind up taking my 8 to for service. As we all know to well, some dealers are on top of their game, and some flat out suck. Just trying to get a gauge on these guys. Thanks.

Can't say for certain but thats my 2nd choice, 1st being Stamford Mazda only because it's so close. Haven't taken it to any actual dealers yet (been taking it to a local shop that I've been losing faith in) and would also like to know how Danbury Mazda is. I'm taking it in to Stamford dealership tomorrow to check if my cat is bad or not. If this place rubs me the wrong way Danbury here I come.

Colonial Mazda
Colonial is okay, i bought a few cars from them. Jeremy is their service manager, he has been there forever. just make sure you CLEARLY tell them what you want done and they a re CLEAR with you what they are charging you for.
FYI, i had them install a 6 puck sprung ACT. they didn't replace the throw out bearing, i noticed it was among the parts returned to me after they did the work. i called them and told them they should have installed the new TOB, they said its not necessary. about 9 months later they were replacing my tranny because the TOW they didn't replace had shattered! The clutch bent the Input Shaft and tore up 1st and 3rd gear.
MAKE SURE YOU DOCUMENT DOCUMENT DOCUMENT!
But if you can get by his attitude they're not bad. Usually very knowledgeable and they LOVE mazdaspeed stuff.
