Now that things seem to be staying nice out, anyone know of any meets or is there a place were alot of people like to meet up?
I will be looking into Quality closer to the end of the March. Maybe set something up for early April.
Thanks
+5 for Quality Window Tint. Have had all of my cars done there with excellent customer service every time.

So I'm doing a tune up of my 8 (electrical & brakes) and as part of that, I called around various places to get some prices. Long story short, I was astounded at the prices Byers and Ricart charge for some parts. First of all, the parts Ricart quoted me for on the phone were different than the prices on their website. So here's the list coupled with the best prices I was able to find elsewhere.
Ricart & Byers Prices
Spark Plugs: $160 ($80 at Advance Auto Parts)
Coil Packs: $87 each ($30 each at mazdaparts.org)
Plug Wires: $90 ($67 at mazdaparts.org)
Couple this with the ca. $600 quote for rotors and pads I got from MazdaDirect last year. (Zeckhausen Racing $390 shipped).
Long story short, only buy parts from the dealership if you absolutely have to. If they mark up the parts this much, I shudder to think about having them do actual work on the car, warranty or otherwise.

I don't think I would go any place else Brian. They're expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for.
BTW, summers are back on! I cleaned up both cars today and put the summers on. I won't be driving for at least 2 weeks after Tuesday, so I should be good to go.
It's nice to have the cars clean & shiny again!
