CT Dealer recomendations
Can anayone reccomend a good dealer. I haven't lived there but will be spending a month there when I get back from the Gulf. I want a decent dealer that I can call and place a deposit on an 8 and pick it up when I return home. I asked my family and they don't have any experience with Mazda. So any suggestions are helpful.

I'll let you know - I pick up mine tonight :-)
Dworkin (in Derby) has been good so far. I went to Autobytel.com and they were the first to call me back. They've been OK so far, they just don't have any accessories. (Nobody does from what I can tell, except Trussville). Ridgefield was slightly clueless - they wanted to sell me a 6 (4 cyl auto).

Yeah, I wish I didn't have to be the Guinea Pig :-). I don't have a lot of experience with local dealers, but I can say that most of the dealers around here are a lot less sleazy than the ones in California. I did a lot of research and preliminary stuff on the web (CarsDirect for info, Autobytel to buy). My dealer interaction was minimal. In a sense that's good. But now I'm looking at accessories. Like I said in another thread, no one here seems to have accessories. When I went to Adzam in NY I saw an 8 with everything - spare tire, cargo net, etc. I don't want to think about getting service.

Simple question: Is the optional spare full sized? If so, I'm assuming it occupies most of the trunk space, right ?
This is from the rim tire thread.Looks like it is optional (xtra $$)
Seems like its a regular donut.

Looking over my paperwork I did notice some charges in there: "Office Conv. Fee" and "Aftersales". I think I know what the first is - Conveyance = delivery. I don't know the second. I'm going to call on Monday.
BTW, I didn't know whether to post this here or "Ct rotor heads?" thread, but here's a pic of the first RX8 in CT *that I know of* :-) (I know dealers have delivered some, but I haven't seen any on the road). I'm still trying to find a good place, time of day, etc to get a good shot, but best so far:
