CT Law Question

Does anyone know if a town government can be sued in the state of CT? My 2008 Miata got hit with a golf ball from a town-owned course, and they told me to pound sand in my letter requesting payment for my damages.

Thanks.

Yes, a town government, as well as specific departments of the town government can be sued. My parents brought an action against the Stamford Board of Education when I was in grade school. If I recall, it was settled out of court in my parents' favour.
