10:15 am at the Stamford park & ride.
To find any caravans on the other days you should probably ask in the Limerock event thread - linked here. And mention where you would be travelling from, since I am guessing you're not currently in Michigan? lol.

As Dennis said. We will be meeting at around 10:15 at the park & ride off the Merrit Parkway exit 35 High Ridge Rd. I just ordered up a new grill, so I will have that and some food. Bring up your favorite grub and drinks.
Oh, Jenn- welcome to the club!

Slight blonde moment.. should have realized when you said Exit 15 that I'm going to be farther North and East and it'd double my drive time to meet up with you guys there....
Thanks! Woot!

nice.
I'm still undecided on my route, since it will double my drive time to go to Stamford first. But I'm leaning towards doing it anyway b/c the trip straight west is either rural routes (ie slow & lots of lights) or a circuitous route using 395 which usually has a massive police presence. Plus the caravan ride up from Stamford would be sweet. How many people are you expecting in Stamford, John?
So depending on where you are on that Sunday I could meet you somewhere along 95 south, Jenn. Where are you going to be Sunday morning?

Southern CT guys: If you're coming up 15.. what exit are you guys taking off of that? If you're going to end up on 691 in Meriden, I can easily meet up with you... maybe that'd be easy for you too, dmc27.. What's the plan of action?

The "short" route for me would be Rt 6 thru Hartford. Going west through CT makes it a 125 mile drive, vs. 230 if I go to Stamford then north. But the drive down Rt 6 will suck, and I would get sooo lonely. lol.
Based on the maps I'd wager John's plan is to go straight up Rt 7 to Lakeville. But that could be the same po-dunk town crap that Rt 6 would be for me. Though I have no issue w/that type of drive, b/c when you have a solid line of cars rolling through small towns it's epic coolness.
What's the planned route from Stamford, John?

Put me on as a definite to meet you there. Rt. 7 looks like a nice drive, and at least I know I can blast down 95 & Merritt. That way I know for sure how long it'll take me to get to a meet point. Plus going west will be lots of slower roads and might save me some gas $$$ but it won't be anywhere near as much fun.

Just to make sure there's no misunderstanding: I'm meeting you in Stamford, John. The ride through CT going straight west will suck - so I'm not going that route.
I guess we'll find out if my poor little renesis can keep up! lol.
I will just have to meet Jenn at Limerock, rather than somewhere in mid CT.
p.s. drunk posting is difficutl ****.

Do you want "regular" canadian beer like Molson Ex, Labatt Blue, etc or some of the better stuff from our most excellent micro-breweries?

Just talked to ray G. When you arrive on sunday for the CTRA BBQ, you will sign a waiver at the gate. Then you will follow signs for the Mazdaspeed Corral/Tent Area, this is where the CTRA BBQ meet will take off.
See ya there.

Packin' up for tomorrow's drive... for those who're interested, I'm bringing a few bottles for the Sunday BBQ!
Don't drink and drive!
All brewed locally in Quebec, Canada.
Don't drink and drive!
Horn of the devil
American IPA
6.5%
Corne du diable (which translates as "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping
Last will
Abbey-style blond beer
6.5%
The Dernière Volonté is a mix of both Belgian and English brewing traditions. The complex aromas are those of flower esters and alcohol, mixed with fruity and lightly malted fragrances, and completed by a strong hoppy bouquet. The first draught lets you discover a mild-bodied beer with both spicy and fruity flavours and a hint of alcohol. The aftertaste is commandeered by a strong hoppy taste.
Coup de grisou
Copper ale; Refermented in bottle.
5.0%
With a potent, explosive taste, this beer has a powerful aroma of buckwheat and coriander giving it an unbelievable density.
