Deer Warning: Saw Mill River Pkwy!
If you're driving the Saw Mill River Parkway at night this time of year, be careful! Sunday night I saw a total of maybe 6 to 12 deer, in groups of two or three, quietly grazing just feet from the side of the highway.

Living is best Modified.
The only problem with living around these parts and having a nice car, which I don't, are the deer population from late july onwards to winter. Speaking of which my friend's Neon just got hit with a deer on a highway not too far back.
The road I usually drive on a lot has a lot of deer, and since the road is often times foggy at night it's not safe to be on during this time. And winter, pfft, there's no road.. it's more of a single lane snow drift. Ah, gotta love country roads.
