Angry Do Not Ever Go To Stadium Autobody

this is a long story but i'll keep it short.

they've had my car for a month. i tried to take it back the day after i dropped it off after 3 people told me their horrible experiences with them (one involved a lawsuit which the complaintant won). He said he had already ordered parts so i figured it would at least be a quick job. THREE DAYS SHORT OF ONE MONTH LATER i still do not have my car back, and it's looking like it's at least going to be another week. This is just replacing a bumper, hood, and radiator.

this is the third delay he's had, this time quoting "i'm having trouble getting some mechanical parts" Really? because the whole reason i didn't get my car back the first day was because you had already ordered them.

i don't want to get too specific while they still have my car, but i do know the owner personally, so this is the "insiders deal" supposedly. I can't imagine how long i'd be waiting if i didn't know him.

I've talked to three random people about stadium auto body and they've all had horrible experiences. Do not go to them

Holy shitnit.. a month to replace a radiator and some body panels wtf?! Unless this place is a small time shop backed up the rear so much **** is coming outa their mouths, something is up. Do they charge a storage fee for each day your car is there supposedly being worked on? I hope not if they do that might be why its taking so long, milk the insurance company for all their worth and then give you your car. Have you actually gone down there and checked up on your car physicaly?? If you know the owner personaly enough (as in buddy status if you will) ask him to get his guys asses in gear. Sumthing like this I'd give it 3 weeks tops to fix, 2 weeks for the parts to arrive (giving leway for possibly back ordering here) and a additional week for install and then painting. But over a month is a bit much without a real explaination as to whats going on. I

Save yourself a lot of trouble and headaches and get the car out of there fast. This sounds like something that happenned to one of my friends. Hard to believe but it took most of 2 years for him to get his car back for something that would've normally taken a month. (looong story)
