Driving roads near Columbus (Flavortown)
Moved to Ohio from Texas last year. Anyone in this area got a recommendation for some good roads within a couple hours of Columbus (Flavortown)?

Been decades since I drove in Ohio, but I once dated a girl in Columbus. Grab a Rand McNally road map or atlas and look for the roads with little green dots… they are “Scenic routes”.
So, drive the 47 miles south to Chillicothe and take any number of relatively twisty, scenic routes heading south towards Kentucky. I’ve never done it but, looking at the map, you could take Route 50 southwest to Route 41 to the Ohio River, where you pick up Route 52 east to Portsmouth. Then back north till you make a left onto 348, a right onto 73, and finally another right turn onto 772 back to Chillicothe. (Sorry, but I don’t see any serious scenic roads closer to Columbus, nor any going north from town. You basically have to head south and east towards Kentucky.) Have fun!
