East Coast Caravan to SS13 Interest Thread
If anyone is interested in going to Sevenstock 13 this September.
RIWWP has mapped out a great ride/caravan. I am about 90% sure of joining him, but its a bit away. If we manage to get a decent caravan 5+ we would like to propose some vendors or MNAO themselves for a partial gas sponsorship in return for advertising throughtout the nationwide trip.
You will need 8 days off of work.. so if your interested hope you can get PTO.
Check out RIWWP thread here https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=197270 for more info.

Just an update, you will not need a full 8 days if your plan is to go to SS and then back home. The 8 days is planned by RIWWP's route to go through some scenic routes after SS before making the trek home.
Depending on how many people decide to go we could have most just opting to go to SS and then back home the next day (whenever they recuperate from the after party ) which would result in likely needing only 6-7 days to get this done. Keep in mind out of those 6-7 days, only 3-4 of them are actual work days since this will run through the weekend of the 18th. You're not taking 6-7 or 8 actual work days off if you can't spare that much.
This will also result in (unless I'm way off) the biggest Rx-8 meet of all time in regards having people from this forum clash together for a good time getting to know one another from the East to West coast.

We should also put up a thread in the midwest section to, in case anyone wants to meet us in St. Louis or other along the way and join up.
And yes, 8 days of vacation time is what I am taking, plus the 4 weekend days for a total of 12 days off, 7 of which I will be traveling for, minimum, 2 in LA for SevenStock and hanging out, and 3 days of leeway.
If you join us for the drive out, and caravan back east after without me, you should only need 5 days of vacation, assuming you leave sometime sunday morning at the latest.

Yeah it will be the last but the biggest meet of rx8's history . We welcome anyone who can afford to attend, attend.
You dont have to do the whole trip RIWWP is planning, but I figure the hell with it were all the way out there. Why not enjoy the scenary and the west coast cayons.
