I was at Lakeland when you drove by and waited with Brian, Jamie and syntheticdarkness for you to roll on over. I eventually had to come back to work though so I wasn't at the beach and Jon was down finishing up the engine swap with Steve. You should have called though...Brian is a hard guy to miss. :P

wheellee, sorry you missed us. you weren't by chance in a yellow 8 where you? If so, a few of us saw that car pull in. At one point you were literally 25 feet from all the cars. hahah
As for the CCA autocross thing, could you elaborate on that a little more? As far as the "9" autocrosses, like what is the format? Is it basically one run per autocross? From the wording of the post it seems different then how anything is run that I have seen.
Also, your dates for the event are wrong. :P

Definitely had a good time (despite the bugs at the park) - Glad we could get some people to the bbq after the event. Nice meeting you and your family synthetic!

So I believe it is in PA for July, so some PA people start planning a meet. As for the race from wheelee I won't be able to make that one which sucks since I'd love to go, but a little low on money with the two big trips just taken lol.

no the yellow 8 wasnt mine, i have a titanium grey 8.
the 9 autocrosses means there will be 9 events over 2 days. you will get a minimum of 2 passes/runs for each event that you enter. its possible that you might get more passes per event depending on how many ppl entered the event. how are they run from what you have seen? i have only done the vette autocrosses.
fixed the date of the races. should say july 17 & 18th 2010. i copy & pasted last yrs autocross info and thought i had corrected it all to show this yrs stuff.

Ahh, gotcha.
I won't be able to make those dates. I'll be out in Toledo for an SCCA Prosolo held out at Toledo Express Airport that whole weekend. Good luck though and I hope all goes well
As for how an autocross is normally run, One day = one event, and you get anywhere from 4-10 runs, depending on the club and the number of entrants. Typical cost for SCCA members is $25 for these events, $35 for non SCCA members.
You'll have to come out to Lakeland for the next NEOhio SCCA autocross to get a taste of a little different style. Our next event is on the 27th of June. I can get you more info if you would like.

I have no idea since there is usually big parades where we live with massive fireworks. If anything comes up it'll be in here, but more then likely it might be after since some people have family reunions or what not on those days.

Welcome Domenico! There's actually a n.ky/cincy thread in the Midwest forum. It's been a little slow lately though. Link Here
kwikslvr and I often meet up at Fuel on Saturday mornings. I've posted info in the thread i linked multiple times, but if you need more info, send me a pm. I won't be there this sunday though as I'll be in NE Ohio.

Hmmm... Lets see... We did the cooks forest trip... What about starting in dubois(maybe even meeting at bamboo garden for lunch?), drive to 322, 322 to brookville, take the length of 949, 949 to 36, 36 to 62, 62 to 666, 666 to 948, 948 to 6, 6 to 321 and 219, 219 to 255, 255 to 555, 555 to benezette to see elk. lol and maybe a picnic.
Or 949 to 948, then 255 depending on the weather
That way all people would have to do is take 255 to I-80 at Dubois so no one gets lost on the way home.
Opinions anyone? Availible dates?
Last sunday OR saturday in july, or second to last saturday OR sunday in july.
Input people! Input!

Sounds good, but you gotta remember that some of the people are going to be driving 2+ hours just to get to where we are. I figured that we are probably pushing the edge of the meet where we live (BFE). I think B-eight was planning something around pittsburgh, if not we'll come up with something .

Pretty much every weekend for July is bad for me. This weekend I'm in New York for a National Tour, the weekend of the 17th I'm in Toledo for a Pro Solo, the 25th I'm in town for a local event, and the 1st I have the annual SCCA club challange.
That being said, I can probably do the 31st of July, provided I don't have to work.

Hey board, I'll give some locals a call and see if and when they could do it, but I'll be up for it as soon as I finish my goodie I put in it.
As for a meet, I'll put it out here before it gets to late. How about sonic's at the mills in Pittsburgh.
1010 Village Center Drive
Tarentum, PA 15804
724-274-4960
Date 7-31-10 (Gives some people time since it's getting a little late)
Time ? 12pm
If anyone wanted to, after the meet we could go to the 3-D I-max across the street.
