Eastern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania meet up...
I am trying to find owners in the eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania area that are interested in a meet up and ultimately doing a few group drives. I have no problem organizing it all because I have done it many times before when I had my S2000. Just reply to the thread if you are interested and let me know where you live so we can get an idea where everyone would be coming from for the initial meet up. We will go from there.

I'll do it. I'll also see if I can get the other 3 8's I know around here to go with me if I can. Hey vyn doors are on, can't really tell that they are different colors until the sun hits them lol. I think I will still have the longest drive to a meet lol.

great thanks for the response...how many people do you guys want to wait for before we set a date for the meet up?? also, the initial meet up will be in the Youngstown area since this is also where the future drives will start from....there are two main places where other car/bike groups meet around here; one is the Quaker S&L in Austintown, OH; the other is the Chilli's at the Southern Park mall lot....are any of you familiar with either of those and have a preference......I would like to do the initial meet up some time in the next few weeks, for now let's keep compiling the list

Also, I'd be interested in a cruise, provided it's not on a day I have an autocross

I work Tuesday through Saturday afternoons through nights. (Stupid restaurant job) You can put me on the list if the final date to meet up fits that schedule.

I'd be interested in going, but would probably just tag along in Tiresmoker's car, as usual
Again, sunday's are almost all out due to autocross. Jon may be right, May would probably be best as it's been a bit cold still.

No offense but I feel you are going about this the wrong way and I feel this is why you haven't had any "new takers". I have set up many cruises and g2g's over the years and ideally people would like to know what’s on the plate before committing to anything. Arbitrarily stating "go for a cruise" without giving at least an idea of where this cruise is going to take place will leave people uninterested. Like for instance, I am not going to just come out and hang out in the parking lot of at Southern Park mall or the shops along 224. And I can attest to the fact there isn't a single decent route in the Youngstown area to even think about making a cruise set up for. So under those assumptions I'm already out and not interested.
Now, if you are proposing a meet at Quaker for people to hang out, that is a different story. If you are just looking for a location to meet up at then go take a cruise that is a different story. Meeting up before the cruise is the last thing to worry about though. You should first establish where this cruise is going to take place, stops along the way for food or entertainment, then the meeting spot for everyone to gather at before the cruise begins.
Also, is this just a "lets roll around the main streets with stoplights and be all cool and ****" type cruise, or are you talking about a "spirited drive" through twisty back roads. Because once again, I highly doubt people want to drive up and down 224 like a bunch of ricers.
Are you looking for just a group of people that want to get together and hang out like once a week and grab food and shoot the ****, or do you want for everyone to stand around our cars in a parking lot for hours on end just talking?
Your idea has merit, but lacks substance. Figure out what you want to do and where it is going to take place first, and then build the rest of details around that. I'll put money on the fact that if you actually had a set plan in mind more people would show interest. As of right now it's just a pipe dream with very little details.

Quaker Steak & Lube sounds good....In Sharon, PA we are talking about, right? There is also Buhl Park. Also, I'm interested in any simple install type ideas. I've got a Pea Pump. I could show how it is used. I like stupid informational type **** too from enthusiasts. I don't have a Cobb AP but I'd like to see one and how it works.
PM me to keep me in the loop. I'm not subscribed to this thread. And for me, it has to be a Saturday or Sunday.
