The last one I went to the organizer (in this case the OP of the thread) would be responsible for holding the deposit. All money goes through him.

The shop won't want to deal with more than one person if we're doing a day/half day gig.

I think in these times for the price and all, the shop shouldn't really care how many people there are. I know I wouldn't. I have a paypal account so it would be easy for me to send a payment after all the numbers get a little more settled down.

I would drive 500 miles to get my AP tuned by a reputable tuner also..

This is just a dyno day for numbers.. in the end I could go to any other local dyno for a much lower overall cost (gas) but I would miss out meeting cool new people.

Now this is the type of interest i was looking for!

How does everyone feel about having the Dyno Day in Mid March?

Because I'll make the appointment tomorrow if we are getting this much interest.

Alzorz, its $65 for 3 pulls, but if we get over 10 ppl, it will be less then $65 a person.

To me march is fine if the weather doesn't get too retarded. Some years march is ok, others it's still like a blizzard. Gotta love PA. Hey I drove 5-600 miles one way to get my baby in GA, but I didn't get to meet any fellow 8 owners. So seeing that I live on the other side of the state and get to meet people that is just as great as the dyno, maybe even better since you chat or what not with people you meet all the time where shop is once in a while.

I drove all the way up to Niagra Falls, Canada, and then on to Toronto to have MM tune my AP at a dyno day that was organized up there.

The wife and I made the most of it... one of the best weekends we had this past year. If the numbers get up there on this one, we should seriously consider seeing how much it would cost to get Jeff to come.

i called them on wednesday...they told me they would call me back with a confirmation...but they haven't. I'm gonna call them on monday to see whats up. Also its gonna be $65 a person and what ever cash is left over will buy every1 food and drinks. If we get 10 confirmed and paid ppl, we'll break even.
