Fun Roads near Boston?
Where I grew up (upstate NY) there were back roads everywhere that were a thrill to drive on. Around here (Boston) all I can seem to find are roads that are littered with intersections, houses, cars, kids, etc. Are there any enjoyable roads anywhere NEAR here? I'd drive up to 20 minutes just to get to one.
Today my car hit the 1000 mile mark, and I punctuated this with a well desrved redline beep! Weeeeeeeeeee!

I don't think there are any really fun roads around here . Sure, there are some backroads with a bit of turns here and there... but they're either residential areas or not tight enough. Maybe further to the West where there are more elevation changes, but I'm not familiar with that area.

Well, you'll really have to drive more than 20 mins outside boston. Rt 2 from Gardner to North Adams is nice. That stretch is about a 2 hour drive, awesome turns plus some up and down in the mountains.
There is a really fun turn that I drive just because it rules. Take I-95 north until you hit the point where I-95 and Rt-128 split off from each other (just north of Wakefield, just south of Danvers). Take the 95 split portion. There is a fairly long straight (.5 miles) followed by a SICK turn. Great thrill to take it in 3rd at about 85+. I would not do this during the week while there is daylight. Best time to take it is dusk on a weekend or late at night.
Now if you just want to let loose like a madman. Hit I-89 from Concord, NH to Lebanon, NH. Its about 65 miles of just wide open highway with no cops until you hit Lebanon. Take a Valentine One just in case, but other than that, have fun. I've made that run in 39 minutes flat.
Fun run from Manchester to Hillboro, NH. Go 93N -> 293 -> Goffstown Rd. Take that all the way out to Hillboro. Ask my10ae for specific route. There is a sick hairpin on that road that I almost threw my car off the first time we ran it. Thank you DSC.
VT-100 from Killington to Waterbury is pretty nice. Twisty, thin roads through the mountains.
I went to college in Troy, NY so I frequently ran those roads up into the Adirondacks and over to Vermont. There are some nice runs in there. Let me know if you want more runs, I've got a lot
