Good Place to get a Tint in MD

Hi everyone, I was curious as to where I could get the best tint for my 8 in MD. I see plenty of ads for different places, but if anyone has had a particularly good experience, I'd love to know. Anywhere closer to central MD in Howard/Montgomery would be a plus! Thanks!

Yeah, I'm looking for a place as well. Same general area but if there's one in Columbia even better. Any ideas?

D&L Tinting is the best in MD and one of the top 10 in the nation. If we have a clear day sometime soon I will post a pic of their work. They created a custom tinted rear window for RoXy that looks just like my avitar!

If you choose them, ask for Frank - he did my custom work - and tell him Lynn says hi.

Thanks for the reply. I thought this thread would die...and after searching to no avail, things didn't look too good. I'll check it out

I have my tints done from D&L they did a great job.. the only thing i have a problem with what when they had to remove the previous tint in the back window and they screwed up 3 of my defrost lines.. I highly advise to keep the reciept and for incase you get pulled over for tint (which was my case).. all in all great stuff..

I got mine done at Winners in Rockville. I had no problems with them, and it looks great.

Just had mine done a couple of weeks ago at HPR customs in Glen Burnie. It was well worth the drive for me from Bel Air which is much closer to D&L...I got great service and a great price from a knowledgable and friendly crew...They also offer this great 'coupon' deal where if you get busted for going a little too dark, they will remove and reapply your tint

The choice is yours but, I had to throw in my two cents worth.

Oh sure ....just got mine done this morning at D&L. Service was okay, and relatively quick. But it was like controlled chaos there, really crowded.

As a result there are streaks all over my windows, which hopefully will just wash off, and a few bubbles that better come out. If you buy the warranty from D&L and you get busted for dark tint they will remove it for $60 and install legal tint for free.

You might want to try "A Perfect Touch" over in Glen Burnie. My boy has had 3 of his rides done there and they seem to do a pretty good job. I think he payed like 150 or something like that. Ive been meaning to go over and get my RX8 done sometime soon. Here's their info..

I haven't taken a real close look for bubbles, none that I can see from the drivers seat anymore. And the streaks are a lot better. Now that it's cured I'm going to clean the tint tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

Looks really good from the outside and with the 108 degree heat here today the inside temp was actually a lot cooler than it would have been without the tint. Surprisingly cooler in fact.
