NJ Ok here are some updates

ok got the ride back from Kenny East Side collision NJ... He Did a very good job for a good price. Yall should check him out for real. The car drives great now. I did not have him put the carrbon fiber parts on... I wanted to try to do it myself.... So far so good. I need to work on sanding down the inside of the first fender but here are some pics. Oh and The blue bumper I think its jeffs... Kenny just threw it on to make it look half decent.. The carbon fiber gt-comp bumper will have to have the absorder + reinforcment taken off. That will be done in a few as i have to drive eto boston when the Headlight arrives hopefully this weekend. Then bumper will be put on. As this is my first installation of a Carbon fiber body kit and also one of the first serious transformations of my ride..... fitment is great near the door very perfect but..... I wish someone would have done a DIY on installation of this dam kit or a carbon fiber one. There may be one i just cant find it. And I am no pro body guy just a guy with alot of time and love for Hot rides.... I can not get the hood and the fender to level out its odd. I thin I will have to do some serious shaving under the headlight pice to the fenders.... Any advvice would be great here are the pics from last week.... I will put up more later tonite or tomorrow... as the fitment is better today then the pics show...

The front and passenger side has completelly new chasis parts everything no one bend or anything can be seen with the sides and bumper off... Kenny is true good stuff I recommend him highly......

NJ Ok a few more pics from last night

Last night I started with an intake mod from the DIY section. I did not have time to take her for a spin. I will roll her around the hood today to see if the car feel much different. From what I can tell by doing the Intake mod is that its seems smoother and a bit more responsive. I let her run after install was complete and felt better when I reved her up. We will see.

What was done:

#1: One of the two screens where removed in the intake.

#2: Both of the side wales/plates in the intake box have been removed.

#3: Also sanded more, set, and bolted the CF-Fender on. Actually very good fit but my hood is bent so i wont know how good of a fit till I get the headlight and a neew hood. Headlight today or friday....

Enjoy the pics. The DIY that is on the forum didn't have any pics so.. I took some for my own reference...

enjoy

LOL already posted on the other side, I wanna know the cost to straighten that puppy out? Or did they even? The front bumper still looks at a slant from the hood. Winkles still on the side...I would have never...Car would be in the junk yard after cash for clunkers. I love my 8 but by no means is it worth shelling out the cash for a wreck like that.

Parking. Short distance from the tree. Head hitting windshield. That much damage.

Convinced of 2 things: 1- Either there's more to the story. 2- The tree was made out of METAL!

I did hit a tree I was not drinking or anything like that.... we got all new front and passenger side parts as well as suspension...... The bumper is on its way off... It was jeffs old bumper kenny had laying around cuase he could not fit the carbon fiber carbon creations gt comp bumper i have..... So in the pic the bumper is not on full due to the fact I have been fitting the fenders on.... Hence one of the fenders being Carbon fiber and the other is original.... I have both fenders and Front end to match.... the blue bumper was a freebie so i could get it to my yard to further work on it... It drives great just need some rims..... the work he did wass amazing most of Kenny's work was done under the body of the car.... If I take the body parts off it looks like nothing ever happened.... I am waiting on the headlight then I will put the new bumper on... So Im very happy and price was good 4400.... not bad at all... definitely not a scrap job cause I was getting new fendrs and had the bumper already... So all an all it was not bad..... I now need to see if i can get the dents around the gas tank out. I have a freind coming to take a look and let me mess with some tools to get them out best I can.... I feel one of the dents will not ever be back to normal... So in that event I have come up with an Idea..... Either Widen the body.. or Make vents/scoops where the crash is... in about another month the car will look nice with all CF peice installed.. The pics make it look worst then it really was... I had pulled peices of the car before pics were taken....

More pics soon........
